Overview

Many people spend their life barely staying afloat in a sea of influences that, for the most part, have no good intentions. It is a tumultuous ocean where these influences do their best to pull people under so they drown in their own despair, depression and discouragement.

People generally do not pay much attention what these influences are, the lies they speak and the trickery in their actions. It takes focus and discipline to make sure that all the things life throws at you are either embraced so you can reach your full potential, or are rejected so you don't find yourself being tossed back into a sea of despair, depression and discouragement.

If you're tired of being pulled down and are looking for a way of escape, this book is for YOU. If you're ready to put some effort into achieving success and being smarter about what and who you let into your life, this book is for YOU. If you are ready to stand on top of your world and proclaim victory, this book is for YOU. If you want to experience a personal sense of discovery, this book is for YOU. No matter what age you are, everyone can identify with the lessons in this book.

About the Author

Throughout his career Bazzel Baz has been known for his creative, spirited, high-energy and purposeful approach to developing relationships, talent, solutions and writing. His layer-peeling approach to life in parable form is enlightening. He gives so much of himself to help others to be their very best, to do their very best and return the favor.

Baz is a former CIA Special Operations Officer, a Citadel graduate, recipient of the Intelligence Commendation Medal and a former counter-terrorism officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is known as "the Patron Saint for Missing Kids." In 1993 Baz founded “The Association for the Recovery of Children" (ARC), a non-profit organization comprised of former and active intelligence (CIA), military special operators and law enforcement personnel who rescue missing, exploited and trafficked American children being held in the US or overseas. ARC's all-encompassing child recovery program comes at no cost to the custodial parents.

Baz is well known globally for his expertise and extraordinary skill set. He has been called on by CNN and MSNBC as an advisor and spokesperson on the war on Terrorism and Homeland Security. Baz's twenty-year journey as a speaker has taken him through an international circuit of guerrilla leaders like former UNITA President Jonas Savimbi of Angola, Afghan Rebels, Ministers of Defense, former Ambassadors/Heads of State and thousands of freedom fighters, often under the demands to provide motivational insight and guidance.

On the home front, his influence and intriguing reputation has catapulted his career as a welcomed spokesperson among Corporate Leaders, Law Enforcement Organizations, Public Television, and educational institutes.

Baz has been able to draw from his CIA and military experiences in order to launch a successful acting career as well as create movie and television material that is unique and original. He is well known in the industry as the “go-to-guy” for technical and creative consulting on and off the set for Directors, Producers and Actors. Baz co-starred on NBC television's "The Blacklist" for four seasons as the commander of Raymond Reddington’s paramilitary group.
