These gems are very independent, they hate to ask for help and it seems to be getting them into trouble. Jade is having a bad day, month, year, life and she just can't seem to get a break. When everything seem so start falling apart she meets her mate and more complications arise. Quentin seems very cold when we first meet him and it made me wonder about his cute daughter Angie being so special. Again when the gems meet their mate fireworks happen , Jade and Quentin are no exception. With each story we learn more and more about the sisters and their individual traits. The men in their lives complement them well, learning really fast how to keep their important parts. :0 There is lots of drama in this storyline and some new interesting characters are introduced. With each new addition my mind wonders to which of the gems will get them as mate. This author is sneaky and gives you little tidbits of information that hook you and pull you deeper into her web. I enjoyed this story and thought it was easy to read and follow. I know a series is going to be a keeper when I can't get to the next book fast enough. I was given an ARC for an honest review

Obsessed ex-boyfriends, back stabbing brother, money hungry women, and lots of sassy! This book has it all. Jade just wants to do her job and make it in the world on her own. She gives a new meaning to stubborn and independent that her sisters can't compare to. She's been abused by boyfriends and taken advantage of so many times that she's now thousands of dollars in debt thanks to the latest ex. When the new owner of the nursery Quentin turns out to be her mate she has no idea what to do with a male who doesn't raise his fist at her. Not to mention he seems to already have a woman following his every step. Quentin Witt only cares for one woman in his life; his daughter Angie. But he can't seem to shake Debra and her desperate claws. Meeting Jade turns his world upside down in ways he could only imagine. Good thing he already has an idea about shifters and paranormal beings. But Debra and Quentin's brother Roger aren't willing to give up their plans for quick easy cash. Will these two be successful in tricking Quentin?

Precious Plant Jade was the nurturer of the family and they all knew that she loved her plants. Quentin is the new owner of the flower shop where Jade works. While at the store checking on it along with his daughter(Angie), girlfriend and brother he loses sight of Angie who Jade stumbles into. From their first meeting Quentin is drawn to Jade and doesn't know why. Jade knows that Quentin is her mate but she doesn't want one because of previous relationships where she was abused. This was a wonderful story filled with sizzling chemistry, action and a family who you see come together and create something spectacular. I for one am intrigued with this series and can't wait for the next one.
