About the Author

Jake Winston is a storyteller. His life’s adventures, and the folks he encountered along the way populate his stories. He grew up in Seattle, Washington in the fifties, attended St. Edward Seminary, and finished his education at the University of Washington and Stanford. He continues to be a player in the world of big-time construction, selling and managing the construction of power plants, steel mills, marine facilities, oil refineries, paper mills and other heavy industrial installations in several countries.

Today, Jake and Elizabeth, his soul mate of fifty years, live in Hawaii with two cats where there are endless beaches to surf and new restaurants to experience. He divides his time between, building, writing, the sea and spending time with family.
