Jamie by Kathi S Barton

Dane Wallace’s psychic vision of a murder keeps her parked on a park bench night after night in order to rescue a hapless victim—a man whose face she can’t see clearly. Her intensions are to rescue the man and get back to her private life.
Jamie Grant, a strong, handsome college professor, is unaware of the danger lurking around the corner. He’s taken by surprise by two assailants and an unlikely rescuer, a tall gorgeous stranger.
Dane has had a hard life with people closest to her not believing in her abilities and punishing her for something she couldn’t help. Dane may have foreseen the murder attempt, but couldn’t foresee the consequences of her interference—losing her heart to Jamie.
The hot sex is great, but can she really trust the man? Will her natural abilities that have caused her scorn and ridicule from others do the same with Jamie or bring them closer together?

I just love the interesting characters that Ms. Barton creates. There is never a dull moment is this family and when Jamie crosses paths with is other half the fun begins. Jamie's treatment of Taylor in the last book put him in the dog house with me. I thought he should have been more understanding and less judgmental given the situations his brothers encountered. He moved out of the doghouse in his story and I really enjoyed the reading about his attempt to woo Dane. Dane was a bit of a surprise as she had some "magic" like abilities. She did not trust well but continued to do the right thing even at her own cost. Pi was a wonderful character that just made you laugh, she added so much to this storyline just by showing up. Each story has obstacles for the couples to overcome and the journey is always entertaining. Add in Pi and the Grant boys mother and the fun is out of this world. What a great family and I am enjoying reading about their lives.
