Jason Long gently turned the stick, angling his de Havilland Twin Otter away from the island-dotted waters of the Puget Sound. Almost home. Hopefully his Twin Otter would get him there in one piece.

The engine trouble he'd had on the last couple of flights worried him but he was nearly there so it should be fine.

It would be fine. Jason wasn't just about to spend any more time on the ground than he had to. He'd been trapped too long as a child. Now that he was free, he was staying that way.
