Don Dolindo Ruotolo, calificado por el Padre Pío como el "apóstol de Nápoles", fue un sacerdote que tuvo muchos carismas: bilocaciones, lectura del alma, discernimiento, milagros de sanación, llagas de la Pasión... Toda su vida fue un continuo sufrimiento que vivía en medio de una gran austeridad. Durante diecinueve años estuvo suspendido a divinis por el Santo Oficio, prohibiéndole ejercer de sacerdote. Murió en 1970 con fama de santidad y su causa de beatificación avanza a buen ritmo.
