Get this book if you want to equip your kids to defend their faith and stand strong! It is great for any parent (or adult) who wants to understand and explain the beliefs of Christianity and answer those hard-to-answer questions. Using clear logic, the author lays out the reasons to believe in manageable chapters that are only about 5 or 6 pages each. Every chapter ends with a summary to help you remember the reasoning so you can retell it. Designed to help you start conversations with your child, the author answers important questions that children wonder about and need to know answers to: how can we know God exists, why does He allow suffering, how can we know what truth is, how do we know that other religions are not pointing to the same God, how can He judge people who have never heard the gospel, how were the books of the Bible chosen, and does the Bible have errors or contradictions (to name just a few). The author is easy to understand, and you will probably find your own faith being strengthened as you reason through the 40 chapters with your child.

Wow. Where was this book when I was raising my kids??? What a gift to every parent. Natasha has walked the rocky road of apologetic conversations with those who seek to take down Christianity. I love one particular quote from Natasha where she reminds us "it will be tempting to do absolutely nothing with what you've read in this book......But please don't get into the mind-set that you have an indefinite amount of time to impact your kids' faith. You don't.." We are losing our kids to the secular world at an alarming rate and this book will give you more than enough ammunition to defeat those who are seeking to destroy the next generation. The depth of information and advise in this book is staggering. Every parent needs to read this book. Every Christian teacher needs to read this book. Even at my age (55), I found this book to be a treasure trove of usable information. She covers everything from God, Jesus, and the Bible to developing a worldview as well as conversations you should have with your kids about creation vs evolution. She encourages every parent to learn about and develop understanding about the atheist mind set. I can't say enough good things about this book. It is just that good.
