He slowly scratched his thick black stubble. "I suppose I am."

Mia Turner is ready to give it all-her body, her heart, her soul-to the mysterious, ruthless billionaire who holds the cards to saving her family. But when this sinfully sexy man, simply known as King, demands something more, something horrifying, Mia will be forced to face the impossible truth about their lives.

Sometimes the truth brings salvation. And sometimes the truth breaks you.

YUM!!!  Loved this series.  Seem to be much darker than her other works.  And so HOT!  Hope there will be a book for Mack?!

Fan-freaking-tastic! This book was a roller-coaster ride of both emotions and situations. I don't know where to start with this one. I had to force myself to put it down so I could get some sleep before work! It's darker than the first two. I will say that. Even during the down and dirty parts though,  I was enthralled.  Mimi does such a great job showing us bits of the characters, keeps us guessing, and then surprises us.  By the end of this book I was in love with King, warts and all. I don't want to give any spoilers but I will say that the weaving of this book is a fitting end to the series.  Mimi mentioned tossing around the idea of another book starring Mack. I would be totally down for that.  If she doesn't though, I'll still be happy with what she’s given us.  I highly recommend this series. None of these books are stand alones. You need to start at the beginning. It's totally worth it.

One of the Best Books Out There... Read all three books in this series NOW in order! This is absolutely a keep you on the edge of your chair book. I could not put it down, I kept hiding from my husband trying to finish it. If you have any doubts about reading this trilogy, don't. You will not be able to put it down. Do pay attention as it can get a little confusing every so. Kudos to Mimi Jean Pamfiloff for a fantastic book!

Holy god! This book tore out my heart and stomped on it. After it was through it gently picked my ticker up, dusted it off, and placed it back in my chest with a kiss and a hug, then made me some hot cocoa. It was such a roller coaster of feels. I hated King. I loved King. I hated him again. I cried numerous times. I stayed up until three o’clock in the morning to finish this novel in one sitting. The writing was phenomenal! Bravo to Mimi Jean for evoking such emotions. While I’m a little bummed that Mia and King’s story is over, this was a terrific conclusion. A definite must read!

When I first started reading Mimi Jean's books, I didn't know what to think except that she was probably just going to be another author who wrote books for a living. I was so wrong! Mimi Jean is the type of author who will take the time to get to know her readers, listen to their input in order to make her books better. Case in point...her "King" trilogy. In the first 2 books you get to meet the main characters (King & Mia) and how much they love to hate...or hate to love each other. Mimi leads you on a chase to find "The Artifact" which is considered the most important thing ever found. It's value worth more than death. However, Mimi also does her famous "Cliffhangers" which annoys the pants off you because you can't wait to find out what happens next.... With "King of Me" you find all the answers you have been looking for in the first two books, along with some surprises that will make you wonder..."Wait, how the heck did I miss that??" or "Wow! I never saw that coming!" Trust me, this is a book you don't want to miss!!! (it is recommended that you should read the first two books in order to understand everything.)

Mimi Jean has a talent for taking her readers on a thrilling ride with twists and turns throughout! IF you've read any of her other books (Accidentally Yours series, Fate Book, Happy Pants Cafe, King's and King's for a Day) you will NOT be disappointed, I simply cannot put them down until I've read it completely. Congrats on another success Mimi!!!

Fabuleous! Enjoyed all three books. I particularly love King and his brother. The storyline took ahold of me and did not let go! I felt like I was on an emotional roller coasted! Each book was filled with a combination of weirdness, love and hate. The story kept me guessing, had my heart pounding and when I took a break from reading, I found myself rushing back to pick up where I left off! Wow! Fantastic!

King of Me is book three in The King Trilogy by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. This is one of those books that is so full of shocking surprises that it’s almost impossible to review without giving anything away. King wants Mia. We’ve known that from the start. But why? Does he truly care for her or is she just the means to an end of his suffering? King claims that Mia must love him, truly love him, in order to break the curse. As they spend time together, Mia does see bits of that man deep inside that draws her to him, that man that cares, that loves. But she also sees the evil King, the cruel King. The man she needs to stay far away from. Could she truly fall for this man, love him? Mia’s brother, Justin, gets himself deeper and deeper into trouble. And Mia is constantly wondering if he has been honest with her about anything at all? It seems he had his own agenda throughout all of this. In the center of everything is the much sought after artifact. The artifact that can bring just one person back from the dead. Mia is still learning what her seer powers are capable of. She has no one to teach her, its more of a learn as you go thing. And it’s because of her powers that this book takes a shocking turn. I was completely thrown by this. But all is revealed. There is a reason for everything. You just have to be patient. “Everything became so clear. There was no separation of time when it came to love. It was the past and future in one blinding light. And I’d never let go of that light. Not ever.” I love Mia in this book. I have to admit I was a little worried when angry Mia seemed to be taking over. But in this book, we get the old Mia back, but maybe a little bit tougher model. She is given the opportunity to love to the greatest her heart can handle. But at the same time, she endures great sorrow and fear. But through it all, she remains dedicated to the people she loves, her parents, her brother, and King. “Love was what brought us back from our darkness, what restored us from the pain of our mistakes.” This book is one crazy, wild ride from the beginning to the end. And I absolutely loved the epilogue. There is also a big reveal regarding Mack which sets things up for book four, Mack. I am so excited to get his story. If you haven’t started this series yet, you need to read them in order. So I encourage you to get comfy, and start with book one. But don’t plan on doing much for the next few days because once you submerge yourself into this world, you won’t want to come back out until you get to the end.

I say this because this trilogy was a strange experience. I would give the first book Kings 4 stars; I would give the second book 3 stars. Halfway through this third book I was going to give it one star, and that is because I hated Mia. I probably hated her through almost all three books, but then by the end of the third book everything comes together; and I was really pleased with the ending. excellent job!

What a great read! A keeper also. I will look for them in paperback. Have to admit that it got me a little confused at times because things aren't as they seem. First books I have read by this author and will check out some of her other books. Loved the complex of the charters.....especially King. Would love to find out more about Max.....he isn't who he seems....read the book and find out. It is a book I will read again because I will have a new insite to it and will enjoy it more. It is a awesome book....loved all three.

I was hesitant for a while to buy/read the King trilogy because it sounded to different and much darker then the author's other series that I absolutely loved "Accidental series" but finally curiosity got the better of me, and it was one of my best reading experiences. The story just sucked you in and would not let you go. Had everything from intrigue, mystery. action, and romance. Have come to the conclusion that Mimi Jean Pamfiloff can write in any style and her talent is without bounds! ANY book of her's will be a delight to read.

I came across Kings by chance while searching for something else and I am sooo glad I did. It's been a long time since a book/series has affected me like this. This trilogy is the best series I've read since the Fever series. From the moment I opened Kings I couldn't put it down. I devoured the entire trilogy. King is sexy, mysterious and frustrating! You can't help but love him and hate him. You can't stop wondering "what the hell is he"? Mia's inner dialogue is hilarious. The series is non stop mystery, suspense, action, adventure and sexual tension. The worst part about the series is when it's over. I miss King. I literally have an emptiness inside with King's name on it. I know that sounds like I might be a bit strange, but read the series and you'll understand exactly where I'm coming from. I can't say enough about this series. Do yourself a solid and read it. I've never read anything from Mimi Jean before this and I'm so looking forward to reading more from her.
