About the Author

Glynnis Campbell is a USA Today bestselling author of swashbuckling action-adventure historical romances set in Scotland, England, and the American West, with over a dozen books published in six languages. She has won awards in the Orange Rose, Hearts through History, and Book Buyers Best contests and was a double finalist in the Romance Writers of America RITA Awards. Her books appear in several multi-author boxed sets with such esteemed talents as Bella Andre, Marie Force, Tanya Anne Crosby, Lauren Royal, Kathryn Le Veque, Eliza Knight, and Claire Delacroix. Writing from her California home, she loves playing medieval matchmaker and transporting readers to a place where the bold heroes have endearing flaws, the women are stronger than they look, the land is lush and untamed, and chivalry is alive and well!

FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS - THIS IS A BUMPY RIDE!!! What a great end to the trilogy, or is it? Has the author left it opened to have the offspring of the Warrior Maids of Riverloch have stories? The liked this one as much as I liked book 2. Please read in order to fully appreciate all the stories of the sister's, and also read Shipwreck too, which is the prequel. I love the writings of Ms. Campbell and how she makes you feel your experiencing what our H/h do. The lovemaking is more descriptive in this story, but no where near erotic type, just full of passion and love and of course desire. I won't go into the premise of the story, but the identity of The Shadow will have you guessing. I did narrow it down to 2 people, but then the author would make you think you had it all wrong. The ending is clever and I wished there was an Epilogue, but there are no cliffhangers. I just didn't want to let these amazing character's go. This story has many twists, a lot of passion and romance and of course suspense. (ljb)

Is he a he or a women...really confusing. One sentence Sung Li a man and then the next sentence he's a she.

This is a great series I couldn't put it down. I loved the strong female leads. There wasn't a lot of fluff and wasted information. I couldn't figure out why the book Shipwreck was part of it, it didn't say anything more about the characters from it except about the viking blood.
