Finally we have an Enneagram and parenting book that helps us understand how our personality type affects the way we are and aren't effective at the very important task of parenting. I know many parents will find the insights of this book to be invaluable to them, especially if they take seriously the recommended practices at the end of their type chapter.

I attended a presentation on parenting that Tracy gave at an International Enneagram Association Conference in Hong Kong. I really liked her materials and approach and now find Knowing me; knowing them written with Margaret and Jacqui quite readable and useful. The authors help parents discover and understand the high and low sides of their own parenting styles and offer nine keys to unlocking their child’s potential that can be used by all nine styles. I believe parents will find enlightening the insights and suggestions offered and I’m sure their children will be thankful their parents read this book.
Jerry Wagner, Ph.D. Nine Lenses on the World: The Enneagram perspective
The best enneagram books come from those who have long experience using the system with real people. "Knowing Me, Knowing Them" by Tracy Tresidder, Margaret Loftus and Jacqui Pollock is just such a book. Based on their extensive work with parents and families, the authors provide practical and powerful advice for parents of the nine personality types, as well as nine keys to unlock each child's potential. This book will help those of us who are parents to raise our children with all the love, awareness and skill that this sacred work deserves.
