This is a fun read. It is not dragged down by mystery and lurking darkness. It is a delightful true romance.

This is a fun Regency Christmas novella set at the Duke of Danby's house. He has turned his matchmaking skills toward his great-nieces and nephews. This story focuses on Lady Patience, one of the beautiful Post triplets. Lady Patience's biggest concern is keeping her kitten after her brother has threatened to banish the animal from his house. But when the kitten bites her and she needs a doctor, she meets the most handsome man she's ever seen. Dr. Matthew Campion is astounded to meet an actual triplet, since it is such a medical marvel in this age. He's also astounded by Patience's beauty and kindness. While they are from very different stations, Patience and Matt soon become sure they have met their perfect match. But what will her family, especially the Duke, think of it?

I was intrigued to read more about the triplets - and Patience's story was a great start! This is a cute Christmas story that introduces Lady Patience Post to Dr. Matt Campion. The Duke of Danby is making plans to marry off his nieces and nephews now that his other family is settled. After being summoned to the Duke's for Christmas, Patience is more focused on finding out why they are there and busy keeping her kitten safe. However that same kitten, when startled, accidentally bites Patience on her hand, and it's handsome Dr. Campion to the rescue! While this is a short story, the pace is fast and the romance is enjoyable. Nothing could be more perfect than enjoying this cute Christmas romance while hiding out in your air-conditioned house on a hot day! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I found it hard to have patience with Lady Patience in this short Christmas novella, I found her a little selfish and immature. The Mathew Campion a Dr. who is asked to treat an injury caused by her kitten is a great character though, he was very likeable, and a sweet romance begins between them. It was a nice story even though I found Patience a little annoying.

3.5* This is a cute Christmas tale of love at first sight. Dr. Matthew Campion is called to Danby to see to the Dukes great-niece Patience who's been bitten by her kitten "Ashes". Matthew is smitten by Patience's beauty and demeanor and Patience has never before meet a man such as Matthew. They each decided to that they must figure a way to see the other again. And that's when the sparks really start to fly. This was my first Ava Stone book and I really enjoyed it.

Everybody tells Lady Patience that she must get rid of her kitten. Then she meets Dr. Campion (because the kitten bit her) and he agrees to take the kitten home with him. As they spend time together, they fall in love. He thinks his humble circumstances would prevent him from marrying Lady Patience. She doesn't care that he doesn't have a title, but her family is trying to keep them apart. Alex is ready to ready to whisk her away in spite of her family. Will it be necessary?

The Duke of Danby is up to his matchmaking again. He has summoned the Post triplets Hope, Grace and Patience to his home for the Christmas ball. Patience is more than willing to go because her brother has threatened to get rid of her kitten Ashes. She will take time to figure out a way to keep him. Doctor Marcus Campion keeps busy taking care of the people in Danby, Yorkshire. He enjoys his job and realizes he lives a rather lonely existence outside of it. A sweet gray ball of fur brings these two together. Marcus is called to treat a kitten bite and ends up taking Ashes home to keep him safe. He does it as a favor but it also allows him to stay connected to Patience. Let the matchmaking begin and you don't want to miss the outcome. I enjoyed this novella and recommend it to anyone who love a quick read. I received a copy in exchange of an honest review.

I just adored Lady Patience, whom is a triplet along with her sisters Grace and Hope. Patience has a new kitten, Ashes, who is causing allergic reactions to her pregnant sister-in-law. Her brother wants the cat gone and Patience is heartbroken. Just as they are arguing a summons come from the Duke of Danby that he wants the girls, his great nieces and their mother to come to his castle for the Christmas holiday. What they don't realize is that the Duke has plans to find perfect suitors for the girls. I really enjoyed the Duke also. He was a little gruff, but underneath he really seemed just like a teddy bear. Due to certain circumstances, the local town doctor, Matt Campion, needs to be of service at the castle. I really liked Matt too. He seemed very sweet and smart and I really enjoyed him with Patience. The entire story line that these two went through was fun, flirty and adventurous. I really enjoyed this quick Christmas story from Ava Stone and would highly recommend it.

Lady Patience has a kitten she must find a way to save before her brother finds a new home for him. Before he can do so, however, the girls are packed up and brought to a relatives house to answer a summons by a duke. While there Lady Patience meets a warm-hearted man who just may be the one for her. But will the Duke and her family allow the match? I really enjoyed this novella and hope you will too! It was a quick read, with a great story falling around Christmas time that anyone can enjoy. As there is nothing like a Christmas romance, this novella is sure to warm the hearts of any of its readers.

I love the Duke of Danby stories and I loved Lady Patience's Christmas Kitten! Lady Patiences is summoned with her sisters to Danby Castle by the Duke and it gives her the chance to try and figure out how to keep the kitten her brother is going to make her get rid of. Once at the castle, the scared kitten bites her and the Dr. Campion is called for. The doctor treats her wound and falls for her. Antics ensue. Lady Patience has a return of Quentin Post (her brother and one of my most favorite heroes) her sisters Grace and Hope who crack me up, and the infamous Duke of Danby himself. A fun, fast-paced Christmas story that can be read anytime of year.

Readers will enjoy the whirlwind romance of Lady Patience Post and Dr. Matthew Campion in Lady Patience's Christmas Kitten. Patience, a triplet injured by her adorable kitten, falls in love at first sight with the handsome local doctor. Their speedy romance encounters obstacles while she stays with her relative, the Duke of Danby. Some of the best parts were the extremely realistic kitten antics that Patience, her sisters, and the doctor encounter. Be aware that as a novella, the story is short and the romance quickly escalates.

A cute and innocent romance about Lady Patience who wants to protect her kitten from being thrown outside who is accidently bitten by her kitten. Dr. Campion is called in the check on her bite. The moment they meet sparks fly. Dr. Campion comes to her rescue when her mom insists she gets rid of the kitten and says he will take her kitten home with him. The next day he comes back to check on his patient and Patience's sister helps with an excuse for them to spend more time together by going to Dr. Campion's home to see her kitten. While spending time together they kiss, she aids him in helping a little boy with a broken leg, and they decide they want to get married (less than 24 hours after meeting each other). Of course, there are obstacles they have to overcome and he ends up defying the Duke of Danby's edict that he is not welcome at the Christmas Ball. Well, he won't have it and shows up to find Patience. They have a happily ever after and that is the story in a nutshell. Super short story and a sweet read. This book, and Lady, It's Cold Outside, would be a good story for young teens who want an introduction to romance. I received this copy in exchange for an honest review.
