About the Author

Bill Mulholland is an Ohio native who discovered a passion for writing after his youngest granddaughter, Cecilia, passed away in June 2022. He began by writing her a poem every Wednesday since her death and continues to do so still today. His poetry led to writing this story, or biography of sorts, about Cecilia’s short life of 3.5 years and her struggle with Dravet Syndrome. This rare form of epilepsy is incurable and tested Bill’s family’s faith on many levels. His trust in God and seeking God is what led to finding his purpose in writing inspiration, encouragement, guidance, hope, faith, and victory that he hopes will help others who may be struggling. In his day job, Bill is a nurse practitioner in radiation oncology and provides care for many cancer patients, some of whom are terminal. Bill uses his testimony and faith in God as a chance to minister to those in need in this setting. Bill’s wife, Kendra, is also a nurse practitioner and they have both traveled to Port-au-Prince, Haiti many times on medical missions. Aside from his work and writing, Bill and Kendra enjoy traveling and camping with friends and family.
