Leave Abuse Behind

When I eventually decided to commence the story of my life in 2010 and I had embarked on the journey of writing this book, I found that I had opened a 'Pandora’s box' of emotions. For so many years during my domestic abuse I had learnt to hide all of my emotions and appear to be emotionless, whilst hiding the turmoil inside my head and heart. The nightmares returned with vengeance. The only reason that I had to continue living was for my children and their safety.
