About the Author

Dr. Sachdeva has an extensive background in quality efforts, having served in various leadership roles at the national level. He was the medical director of Quality Initiatives for the American Academy of Pediatrics and held the position of corporate vice president and chief quality officer for the Children's Hospital and Health System of Wisconsin. Recently, he was senior vice president for Strategic Affairs, Regional Strategy, and Quality at the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University.

With his expertise, Dr. Sachdeva has led national grants as the principal investigator, including a significant project funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to develop pediatric quality measures.

Throughout his career, Dr. Sachdeva has held clinical, executive, and academic positions at prestigious institutions such as Baylor College of Medicine, Medical College of Wisconsin, SUNY Upstate Medical University, American Academy of Pediatrics, and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Sachdeva has earned two doctorates: a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Texas and a DBA in management sciences from the United Kingdom. He also holds a JD degree from Marquette University Law School. His expertise in healthcare quality measures has garnered national recognition, and he has been consistently listed on the Best Doctors in America by U.S. News & World Report since 2005.
