About the Author

Nancy L. Shelly is a librarian who has worked as a free-lance library cataloger, an editor for a library consultant, a proofreader for Doubleday Books and briefly taught high school English. She graduated from Grove City College, earned a master's degree in library science from Drexel University and is a graduate of the correspondence school, The Institute of Children's Literature in West Redding, CT.
She writes poetry and short stories and did, in fact, write the beginning of Life At The Edge Of Nowhere as a short story. However, feeling there was a lot more of the story to be told, she resumed writing, expanding the original story into three novels.
