Love Is a Bridge: Even Death Cannot Keep Loving Hearts Apart

One day shortly after my father’s death, I went to church. I was missing my father very much. Sitting in the pew, I felt my dad with me. I had experienced his presence before. I silently asked him how it was that I could “talk” with him when others who had lost those they love could not “talk” with their loved ones. In my heart I heard my dad’s beautiful answer: “The love we built on Earth is a bridge that connects us, so we can communicate with each other now between Heaven and Earth.”
