This book is about love. What it is and what it isn't. It is about you—and about everybody who has ever reached out to touch the heart of another. Among many other lessons of the heart, Leo Buscaglia reminds us: Love is open arms. If you close your arms about love you will find that you are left holding only yourself.

If you were to look up "love" in the dictionary (or any decent library or book store) you'd see Leo Buscaglia's name listed first. In this book, his tapes, his videos, he uses humor, little stories and examples that everyone can understand... Not so much a negative sort of love book which points out problems and rules in the majority of it's pages, but rather common sense, a gentle 'friendship chat' and really useful incredible 'points' (points that you may have never thought of before... he has an uncanny wise sense that is unforgettable and priceless!) I highly recommend this book to everyone... Give this book as a gift that will be read and enjoyed; keep a spare copy to read again and again... This book will make you smile and even laugh some, (tough for books to do) The way you love, and in doing are loved, will never be the same! You'll be touched and changed - moved and enriched... Hard to put down, sad when there is no more to read, but well worth it anyway! RIP Leo Buscaglia... We love you!

This book was suggested to me by writer Peter Loel Boonshaft. It is a study in analogies that can even be applied to the classroom. It has helped my being in front of students and speaking.

The 'Love' book has profoundlly changed my life and the lives of the students who have read it. It is a life-changing book that I would recommend to anyone who wants to get in touch with him or her self.

During a sociology class in college, we had to pick a book from a list and read it and do a paper on how that book affected the ways in which we thought.... This book changed me! It was as if he were speaking to me personally. I have bought this book for many friends. Every college student should read this book. Actually everyone should!

In life there are crazy times. At a point in my life I found Leo. This was the first book of his I ever read. An it took a grip on me unlike anything I have ever seen. He moves you, brings you tears; an laughs just the same. I could never say enough great things about the man or his works. anyone who reads this will come away diffrent. Over the years I have forgotten just how many copys I have given away. It's a book that just makes you want to give it to people. Everyone should ready at least once.. An when they do they will find themselfs returning again and again... Thanks for the love Leo.... Jay
