He was the one guy I couldn't get enough of. One look from him would make me melt. He was the one I always wanted to love me, but always seemed so far away. Now he stands before me and he's turning my world upside down.

Samantha Monroe had it all. Or at least everyone thought she did. A career on the rise, a gorgeous husband, great friends and a beautiful home. So why does she feel so alone and empty? When she reconnects with an old flame, lines are tested and compromises made in a quest for happiness.

Jacob Matthews always wondered what happened to Sam Monroe. When fate brings them together after all these years, he can't help but wonder if its meant to be. But when he meets his perfect woman, there is no doubt in his mind she's his soul mate.

Will the search for happiness cost them everything or will their love square show them what really matters?

Love Square by Jessica Ingro is a quick read.  In the beginning, I was disappointed in the lack of character definition and absence of story line. The love scenes are terrific and really Hott, so I chalked it up to being more erotica.  But as I continued to read, the second half of the story opened up more of the characters and shined a bright light on the ultimate story line.  It turned in to a really terrific love story with some well earned HEA.  So, although it started slowly, this was a good read.

I want to first go on record and say that I do not condone cheating in any form or fashion. Do I understand why some people have their reasons. Of course. The characters: Sam - author starving for love and affection from her husband. Things have been rocky for the past few months between the two and she just wants to be noticed. Aiden - Sam’s husband. In the beginning I questioned his love and affection to Sam. He allowed life to pass them by without much notice. I guess  looking back he allowed work to come first, but once realization hit him his main and only focus was getting his family back. Jacob - Oh my where do I begin. Well he’s a blast from the past for Sam. That itch that needs to be scratched. At some point I was a tad worried for Sam’s safety, because his demeanor came off a little strong. The Story Life is messy and complicated. What we grow up thinking of as black and white is anything but. Gray areas are everywhere.   Ms. Ingro has done an amazing job with her debut novel. It had that angsty feel that I adore. Not to mention people with messy lives that I lust for. Speaking of lust this one was a smexy good time. I found it hard to focus on the fact that what Sam and Jacob had was wrong. When those two got together things heated up something fierce. I felt conflicted about my feeling in regards to Aiden and Sam.In the beginning I felt really bad for Aiden because his wife was stepping out on him. Slowly after time progress I realized Sam’s reason. She was missing something. On the other side of that coin Sam was selfish and messy. When all she had to do was have open communication from the one person she felt ignored her. Jacob and Sam definitely had tons of chemistry between the two of them. I’m sure it was because these two already have a history of being intimate.  I knew their path was going to become rather messing and even more complicated as time progressed with all of their sneaking around. I was just on the edge of my seat in anticipation on how things would finally blow up. The epilogue which was from Aiden’s POV sent me into a state of shock. Once he realized that his wife was stepping out he concocted a full plan in efforts to get her back. Honestly I was so thrilled that a fire was finally lit under him to make him pay more attention to his home.   Reading Love Square in my opinion makes you think about the what ifs in your own relationship and how would you react if you were in this similar situation. So I pose the question what would you do if this was you? **Huge thanks to the author for providing me with an arc copy in exchange for my honest opinion**

Over all i would give this a solid 4 *. The story idea was well developed. There was a lot.... I mean a lot of sex scenes which to me took away from the story. I don't mind steamy scenes at all... I just felt like the main focus of the affair was sex. i found myself skimming through scenes just to get on with the story. I loved how it turned out. I was happy to finally see Samantha happy with herself. I'm intrigued to read Jacobs story but didn't feel like I needed to jump right into it.

This was definitely a different read from your usual romance books. This book took you on a journey of a woman's affair while still married to her husband. In some ways, I could totally understand why she did what she did even if it was wrong. And you'll keep thinking, who will she choose in the end? Be warned, there is a lot of steamy sexy scenes. I did enjoy this book however and there's supposed to be a book 2.

It took me a few days to process this book.  No really. I haven’t picked up a book in days. I’ve read love triangles before. But, none like this! The author is not kidding when she calls it a love triangle gone bad (*hint, hint*). I wanted to throw things. I felt torn. I felt excited and angry. I loved every minute of it! This book isn’t for the faint hearted. There are REAL issues here. Love is hard. Marriage is harder. This book will make you choose and you may even be surprised by your choice. This is a very well-written book that deals with cheating. I do not condone cheating, but hello it’s a book. And it’s GOOD! I read it in one sitting. Well, I had to put it down once to deal with real life, but was glued to it again after. Don’t let the cheating scare you away. You will miss out on some amazing characters and their story. Samantha Monroe (Sam) is a writer. During one of her book signings, she ran into her ex boyfriend, Jacob. Nice right? Well, Sam is married to Aiden. They’ve been having marital issues.  Aiden loves his wife but they’ve grown apart. What married couple does not have issues? Sam feels so disconnected from her husband, Aiden. He is so wrapped up in work. She feels like his roommate.  Does this give her the right to stray from marriage? No. But don’t judge yet. You have no idea.  Jacob. Sexy Jacob. Why do you want Sam? She is married. He doesn’t care. Ok he does. But, he wants Sam more. Their chemistry literally ignites the pages. Their scenes are intense, emotional and heart-felt. You also get to experience the guilt felt by Sam. Believe it or not, she truly loves, Aiden. Oh and yes, I am team Jacob! No judging! Sam ends up making her choice, but she soon realizes that you cannot play with anyone’s heart and expect for yours not to be broken as well. And no, it doesn't go the direction you think it will. As the book is ending, the author throws a huge wrench in the story. Whoa! Did not see that train wreck coming! Genius!Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It brought me out of my book funk. I cannot remember the last time, reading a book in one sitting. It was great. I need book 2. Now. If you are looking for a well-written, angsty, sexy novel, then this is for you! Every new adult fan should read.

This good is a great read. Love square is between Sam and Aiden unhappy marriage, Sam seeing her ex Jacob and having an affair. Aiden finding out Sam affair, Jacob falling for Brooke. Finding out in the end that it was Aiden who got Brooke to hook up with Jacob so Sam would stay with Aiden. What a mess can't wait to see what happens next....

Love Square is intense, emotional, and certainly sexy. I was hooked from the start. It's a realistic story about what happens in a marriage when life doesn't go exactly the way you plan it. It's a story about betrayal, heartache, and falling in love again. Oh, Samantha. She's the kind of character that you like, can relate to, but can also get mad at...really fast. There were so many parts of her story that I understood completely. She fell in love with a wonderful guy in college. They got married and things seemed to move along they way they should. Then, they wanted to start a family. This process wasn't easy for them and it caused problems in their marriage. So, Samantha, who is an author, runs into her old high school flame, Jacob, at a book signing. Some of her old feelings resurface. It doesn't help that Jacob is pursuing her relentlessly. Jacob wants Samantha. She's his one that got away. Well, in his mind anyway. And I do think he really cared about her, but I had mixed feelings about him. On one hand I liked him because he was funny, sexy, and was giving Samantha the affection she craved. On the other hand, I was angry that he wanted to break up her marriage. I mean, he knew she was married and he still went after her. Don't get me wrong, I blame Samantha the most. In the end, there are things that I still liked about Jacob, but he was kind of hard to like. He was realllly sexy though. I could see why she was so tempted by him. Now, on to Aiden. He's Samantha's husband. In the beginning, I was a bit angry with Aiden. I'm not in any way excusing Samantha's behavior, but Aiden was ignoring her. In a lot of ways, he abandoned their marriage. Whether you're in a relationship or married, there are times when you question everything about that relationship. There are moments you look at your partner and don't recognize them. But one thing about Aiden stayed true throughout the book. He loved Samantha completely. I really, truly loved Aiden by the end of the book. He wanted to save his marriage and the love he and Samantha had. He's really a great guy. Overall, I loved this book. It's not easy to read. Especially if you're in a committed relationship. I think it was hard, because there are times when you feel the way Samantha felt. She was going through a hard time in her marriage and she was vulnerable. It can honestly happen to anyone. I was really happen with the way things ended up though. There were definitely some twists and turns getting to the end, but it was truly a captivating story. I'm anxious for Jacob's book. He definitely has more to say and I have a feeling Ingro will actually make me fall for him too. If you're looking for a fantastic debut that's sexy, dark, and enthralling, definitely check this one out!

I received this book as an ARC from the author for an honest review. An interesting story about a married woman who seemingly has it all but doesn’t feel that way.  On the road for her career, she bumps  into the one man that can get under her skin.  Over the following months, many rationalized decisions are made and life becomes  more complicated.   Just as things start to become clearer, the lines blur a little more and another complication arises.   This story is told in the first person describing the thoughts and actions of Samantha as she struggles to determine the right course  of action to find her own happiness.   Along with this deep storyline, there is some HAWT sex!  Did I forget to mention that! I really didn’t like Sam a lot of the time as I read her story but I think that is the sign of a good story.  If you can feel emotion towards  the characters and their situations then the author has succeeded.  I felt many emotions as I tried to put myself in the story as different characters.  The one thing that sold me the most on this book was a nice little twist or two that I didn’t see coming.  .. . And of course  the teaser at the end for another viewpoint to how this story plays out.
