Nikki and Dallas meet when she moves across the hall from him.  Dallas is a photographer and Nikki is an interior designer.  Nikki is getting over a bad breakup with her ex-fiance' Matt, who left her devastated when he implied she was boring and not enough.  Dallas sees Nikki and instantly falls for her.  He has definite commitment issues and struggles with his feelings for her.  They both come up with a plan to go to her friends' wedding together to make Matthew jealous.  Both of them think the other one is just going along with the ruse and not really interested.  When they finally explore their feelings for each other an unfortunate incident causes Dallas to misconstrue what is happening and he makes a last minute decision that causes both of them to suffer needlessly.  Overall a quick, easy read and perfect if you are looking for a light, neighbor to lover romance with a good HEA.

My Thoughts: This new imprint from Entangled has it all--great stories and characters and the perfect mix of romance. The second I started reading this one, I was hooked. Dallas and Nikki were irresistible together. You've got to love those tropes where the girl's trying to make the ex jealous. Unfortunately for Nikki, using Dallas is the best and worst choice possible. The best because, well, SWOON; the worst because...well, SWOON. Dallas is obviously better for Nikki than her ex, but she's determined to get the ex back. Even though that's her main goal, there's nothing wrong with a little flirting and kissing with the sexy British neighbor, right? But the moments they share together are blossoming, and they don't have much time left before everything changes. Love Thy Neighbor was the perfect love story. The best part to me--aside from the kissing--was how the story developed. It wasn't this whole insta-love or even insta-lust. Time went by, thought went into their actions. It was just a lovely mix of romance and finding ultimate happiness. I am really anxious to see what else Sophie Wintner has in store! My Rating: Exceptional

Nikki Norris hit a rough patch on her road to success. Her partner in their interior design firm ran off with all their money. Then her fiancée said he didn't want to marry her. She's due for a break. When she's forced to move, she learns that her next door neighbor is Troy Dallas, a very sexy fashion photographer. He's attracted to her and she to him. Good things are going to happen. Right? This is such a humorous and sensual story. Nikki and Dallas make such a perfect couple. It's too bad that he doesn't do forever. The characters are charming and their chemistry is so hot. I love when they are together. Her ex, Matthew, is so wrong for her. I didn't understand why such a kick-ass woman let a man like Matthew destroy her confidence. I wanted him gone. Dallas is so much better for her. He wants her to be happy. I understood his insecurity and was glad when he finally faced his past and moved on with his life. Sophie Wintner did a great job! Her plot was solid and her characters were well written. I was immediately pulled into their romance. I couldn't put down Love Thy Neighbor. I wanted a HEA for Nikki and Dallas.

I enjoyed reading this book. I loved Dallas even with all his insecurities. He helped Nikki find herself again and regain her confidence. A true nobleman. I loved the way he made her feel, treated her and just got to know the real her. Nikki was such a relatable character for me. Someone who doesn't always feel beautiful or think she is up to par so to speak. But I truly felt her transformation and it was heartwarming. She deserved to be treated special because that was how she was to others. This was just a great feel read with a little frustration and a whole lot of hotness thrown in. The chemistry between Dallas and Nikki was combustible. I was very pleased with the ending of this story and with the resolution of the conflicts. I definitely look forward to reading more from this author. I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher.

neighbors to forever-love the slant-plus a neighbor who is British.Yummy!! ****A gifted copy was provided by the publisher for an honest review**** This is the story of Nikki Norris and Troy Dallas. Nikki is an interior designer while Dallas is a photographer.  Nikki has had a horrible run of bad luck. Her fiancée called off the engagement, her business went bust, she is living in a loft she can’t afford and is about to lose. Nikki thinks she has been jinxed when she meets Dallas, her sexy British neighbor. Nikki is just trying to put herself back together and start anew... But she still has a feeling that the fiancé should come back to her because of all the time they were together & she is the only one right for him, etc.... As she starts to figure out her where she is... she has an episode of “being stuck in an elevator” with sexy British neighbor. And oh my, the chemistry is off the charts.  When they finally get out of the elevator, Nikki’s ex sees her being friendly with Dallas and lets her know that he is taking his new, barely legal girlfriend to the wedding of a friend that they both know. More of a “rub it in your face” move designed to hurt Nikki. Nikki  acts like its no big deal but its killing her inside. Dallas finds out and offers to take her – BUT he tells her, “he does not do relationships” ever. Now they do the dance around each other, trying to avoid the relationship that they know they want , instead just take it one day at a time and go for friends route and fight deeper meaning. I enjoyed the chemistry between these two. Seeing them try to avoid the all out heat between them , knowing how there is true chemistry, and they are fighting it. What I really appreciated was eventually every one took responsibility of who they were and what they wanted out of life. This also had secondary characters I liked and I hope those characters get their story someday. My rating : 4 stars ****

4.5 Hot Guy with English Accent and Rocking Abbs Stars *I received a complimentary copy from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review* It was hot. It was romantic. It was sweet. This book was just great and lovely. Dallas has all kind of intimacy issues with women… not so much with their intimate parts, hehe. But being a super hot, fit, gifted photographer with a British accent made things more than easy for him. Nikki is an interior designer that had some very nasty things happening to her, starting with a crook for a business partner and a deprecating and unskilled jerk for a fiancé… needless to say, she finds herself in a new apartment after the fiancé called off the wedding because he was bored and the partner forced her into bankruptcy after hightailing it with all her funds and clients’ money. Thank the Lord karma compensates her with the hottest neighbor in the story of time. They meet, sparks fly, pulses jump. The hot bits were scorching, I would totally let Dallas do anything he wanted to me…whenever, wherever. It was lovely to see Nikki get back into her own, after her inner strength was crushed by years of an emotional abusive git for a boyfriend. Dallas gives her the boost she needed to be confident in her own skin. Nikki made Dallas realize all he had been missing and needed in his life. Sophie Winter is going into my “I’ll definitely be reading everything she’s ever written” list. This book was fun, sexy and sweet all at once, and I had a wonderful time reading it.

Nikki moves into to her quaint apartment. All she can think about is that her fiance broke up with her and called her boring. She knows she can do whatever it takes to get him back. Then she meets her sexy as hell next door neighbor Dallas who is a very well sought after photographer. She knows Dallas could possibly have no interest in her, since he looks at gorgeous models all day, but maybe he can help make her ex jealous. Dallas thinks Nikki is sexy, honest, and natural. All the things he didn't know he was looking for in a girl. Dallas doesn't do commitment, but maybe he will just change his style. Dallas agrees to help her make her ex jealous, but realizes nothing Nikki is wrapped up in her ex to much. He isn't going to change her mind. Great book. Awesome ending. I was provided a copy of this book for my honest review.

3.5 SOLID STARS Nikki Norris has just gone through hell and back!  She has been dumped by her fiancé and swindled by her business partner.  Starting over means a new apartment, a new go at a business, new hobby(running, of course) and ……….of course a new guy. She’s the ugly duckling that has somehow turned into a beautiful/graceful swan (I KNOW, I KNOW!!!  You’ve already read this!)….bahaha.  Hang on though!  Don’t give up!   Troy Dallas aka Dallas is a professional photographer, constantly surrounded by fake breast, fake women, fake lips, fake personalities (ROUGH LIFE, RIGHT?!)  He has abandonment issues (bc who doesn’t), but of course is now wanting to be saved! If it sounds like this is all clichéd………honestly, some of it was.  I won’t lie to you.  However, I will tell you what worked.  I enjoyed that both characters were really likable.  The story line would have worked a little better without all of the predictability, such as the elevator scene and the “pretty woman” qualities of the story. I enjoyed the design aspects of the story, as I am a professional HGTV watcher.  Dallas’ interest in the environment, and the way that the author added it to the story, was pretty fascinating. I wish that would have been explored a little bit more. My final thoughts…….it was cute.  I didn’t feel like rolling my eyes at every page, and I honestly devoured it…..cheesiness and all.  This would be a refreshing reading something super emo.  Add it to your too read for when you need something light yet enjoyable.

ARC Courtesy of Entangled Publishing This is the story of Nikki and Dallas. Nikki is a interior designer who is coming off a 5 year engagement. Her fiancé left her, because he claims she is to "boring". She has not only lost her fiancé, but also her business partner who did a runner by taking all their clients money with her. Now Nikki is staring over in a new condo where the handsome Dallas a photographer just happens to be her neighbour. She is still in love with her ex fiancé, but she cant help but admire all that is Dallas. Dallas photographs beautiful and sexy models all day long. Except he is tired of it. They are all just fake and phony and his heart is not in it. He wants to photograph more than just models. He wants to go to Antarctica and photograph the glaciers there. When he meets his sexy new neighbour, he cant help but be attracted to the curvy sexy brunette, who is like a breath of fresh air. Problem is he does not do relationships and she is still hung up on her ex. When he agrees to attend a wedding with her, to help make the ex jealous all thoughts of not having a relationship and her ex go out the window for both of them. This is a sweet, quirky little romance about falling in love

I really enjoyed this book! Nikki is an interior designer who recently got dumped by her fiance. Her business partner ripped her off and she is completely starting over. She has confidence issues and is insecure. She moves to a new apartment and meets the sexy photographer across the hall. Dallas is a fashion photographer who is so hot he should be in front of the camera instead of behind it. He doesn't do relationships. Dallas has his own insecurities and isn't really happy with his current profession. Nikki and Dallas have immediate chemistry. This book is steamy hot! I loved how these characters meet and the friendship they develop. I was slightly annoyed with Nikki (especially any situation involving that dirt bag Matthew) and how insecure she could be at times but I get it. Overall, I really enjoyed this book, it was hot, sweet and romantic. I look forward to reading more by this author!

4.5 Stars! Wow, another great book from Lovestruck, the newest imprint from Entangled Publishing. Love Thy Neighbor is both a hot and imaginative read from debut author Sophie Wintner. The plot captures your attention right from the start and continues to entertain until the very last written word. The two primary characters, architectural interior designer Nikki Norris, and fashion photographer Troy Dallas, have tremendous chemistry and their Cinderella story is replete with kindness, yearning and love. Ms. Wintner is an wonderful storyteller and I can't wait for her to write another book. After her business partner steals all her money and her fiancee dumps her, Nikki is beginning a new life. Starting a new business, living in a new place and meeting Dallas, the handsomest neighbor of all time, takes some getting used too. Nikki is a very sweet woman, and Dallas helps her get over her various insecurities as well as teaching her a few things about pleasure. Dallas is gorgeous and the models that he works with are constantly throwing themselves at him. He has never experienced true love, because he has never found the right woman and he is afraid of making a commitment. Dallas finds Nikki to be like a breath of fresh air, and as a result, he finally experiences the love that everyone talks about. I really liked this book. It is fun, flirty and engaging. The only thing missing is some background information about Nikki's childhood, and her relationship with her family. I really liked Jenna, Nikki's best friend because she is spunky and adds just the right amount of humor when it is called for during an emotional situation. Overall, a solid read. Complimentary copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley.

This debut novel is the story of Dallas and Nikki. When Nikki moves in to her new apartment, she never expects to meet such a handsome neighbor. Dallas is a fashion photographer and has a steady stream of beautiful women coming and going from his place. Nikki can't believe he would be interested in her, but when he does her a favour to make her ex jealous, the lines of friendship and lovers get crossed. Can these two neighbours find true love together? I liked the premise of this story and it started off well but Nikki's character started to wear on me. Her lack of confidence in attracting a gorgeous man like Dallas was constantly observed in her own internal monologues and I found that frustrating. Dallas's character was interesting and I appreciated that he was attracted to Nikki for her personality and her interior design skills as well as her looks. I also liked the fact that the story was told in both points of view, as I always appreciate being shown what both main characters are thinking and feeling. There was definite heat in the story and the love scenes were well written. Overall I thought it was a good effort for a debut and I'll be interested to see what this author will write next. 3 stars.

Fantastic story! Loved Troy Dallas and Nikki Norris. He has a hard time letting go of his heart. She has a hard time holding on to hers. Together they are magic!! The characters are amazing, the writing is top notch and the story is amazing. All in all, a must read. I highly recommend it.

Complimentary copy kindly received from Entangled Publishing in exchange for an honest review 3.5 Nikki Norris, babe stars Nikki Norris is an interior designer, who now finds herself jobless, single and moving into a new apartment. Not in the best frame of mind, she reflects on her defunct 5 year relationship, having been almost dumped at the altar by her bored fiancé. Troy Dallas is a renowned photographer, who uses his apartment to conduct his shoots, current ones being lingerie laden. Nikki spots the handsome Brit, Dallas, and is immediately smitten. Their interactions verge on gentle flirting, until Dallas decides that he may be able to help Nikki Norris out in more ways than one. I enjoyed this light read, especially Dallas, the Brit who didn’t sound like one! It was fun to watch them both overcome their insecurities, whilst slowly realising the effect they had on one another.  This was a first read for me from this author, and I found her voice an easy, humorous one.

Love Thy Neighbor is a good debut from Sophie Wintner, who has brought us a cute, sexy romance containing a likeable lady and a British man, a Manc to be precise - as a northern British woman, this is always appreciated. New neighbours, he's a commitmentphobe, she's just out of a broken engagement. She wants to make her ex jealous, he's happy to help. And it's not long before feelings are thrown into the mix. "Oh Nikki Norris, I want you, I do. But I don't want to hurt you". I loved Dallas. He was a complete sweetheart. But, (and it's not a bad but, it's just the slightly moaning Brit in me making a fleeting appearance), his name was a bit of a sticking point for me...Troy Dallas. LA yes, Droylsden, not so much. In the grand scheme of things though it's minor and irrespective of what I thought of his name, the man made me swoon. He may be living the high life photographing models in his condo, but he's grounded, patient and doesn't half know how to say the right things. "I would love nothing more than to turn you on. I would show you how exciting and sensual you really are. I’d want to please you, make you feel good about yourself again. You deserve that..." For the early part of the book Nikki frustrated; she has blinkers on, thinks the right man for is her ex and she's lacking self-confidence. Yet there were parts of her I could empathise with - in some respects I've been in her shoes. But she surprised me and her chemistry with Dallas burnt bright and brought the hot and the heartfelt. And with an ending that left a huge smile on my face it was a sexy, easy-read romance, fitting to the Lovestruck imprint. Looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.
