The stakes are even higher in Book Two of Kimber White's smoldering Mammoth Forest Wolves Series!
Five men. Brothers in arms. Their fight to free the shifters of Kentucky could destroy them all.
Every wolf in Mammoth Forest has risked their lives to join the rebellion for their own reasons. For Mac Morris, he's got one chance to find his missing sister and save her from a forced mating to one of the Chief Pack's most dangerous generals. On a recon mission, his mind and heart go haywire when he comes face to face with his own fated mate, Eve Dawson. Feisty, beautiful, and too stubborn for her own good, Eve's everything Mac's inner wolf could ask for. But like his sister, she's been marked for another wolf. Every time he's near Eve, his protective Alpha side kicks in putting him at risk of detection from the Pack. At best, they'll just kill him. At worst, they'll use Eve as a pawn to flush out the Mammoth Forest resistance fighters.
Eve Dawson came to Birch Haven and its idyllic small college setting for a full scholarship and a fresh start. She should have known anything that seems too good to be true usually is. Those ivy-covered walls hide something sinister and Eve soon learns the Chief Pack shifters are behind it. When she meets Mac in the woods, she has every reason not to trust him after the things she's seen. But he stirs her heart and body in ways she can't deny. He's not like the other Kentucky shifters. She's falling for Mac hard and fast but there's danger all around as the Pack closes in.
Mac's gut-wrenching choice will change things in Mammoth Forest forever.
The Mammoth Forest Wolves books contain smoldering love scenes between fated mates, danger, dark passion and intrigue. If you're into that, saddle up and strap in! Each book is interconnected and should be read in the following order: Liam, Mac, Gunnar, Payne and finally, Jagger.

Mac is a wolf shifter in a pack trying to hide from the chief pack alpha. He is an evil power hunger alpha bent on controlling them all, he is looking for his half sister, Luna in Birch haven. Eve in Birch Haven too on a full scholarship that was too good to refuse. Since she was living in the basement of her high school English teacher. After being in this town she knows something is every wrong. Little does she or the other women tricked into comming was no one's ever leaves Birch Haven. Love the action and drama in this story. Lots of mystery and great storyline. Don't miss it. Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.
Nothing is That Perfect Not quite your normal storyline about shifters. The book will give you personal pain, life drama, death and destruction, salvation or redemption depending on how you view the outcome. I like this story and cannot wait for the next book in the series. I have voluntarily read and reviewed this book received from the author without obligation to do so.
Mac is loyal to their rebel pack and the humans who support them as well as the wolves they help to escape the evil control of the Cheif Alpha. Still, he has to find his sister. He'll go alone to save his mates from the danger of being anywhere near that pack control. The last thing he wanted or expected to find is his own mate. Eve should have known this "free" ride to college was too good to be true. Something was wrong. Girl's were going missing. Others were changing and more. When she met Mac she was trying to escape. Did she have a friend or foe in this man? Was he in on whatever was going on? Could she trust him? That was the question when she realized he too was a shifter, like the campus police or their prison guards as she was beginning to think of them. Working together they could get some of the answers they needed? Could he risk his friends and their small pack to save his sister and more? The author has once again taken a romance and created a world with intense situations, strong characters, lots of steam. She isn't afraid to take chances and pull on the emotions of the reader. A solid recommendation. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.
