Marche's Madness
Al Marche considers herself your average American woman, aside from a terminal case of clumsiness, a persistent anxiety disorder, and her ever pesky sensitivity to the spirit world. Juggling the demands of a thriving co-owned business, promising romance, care of her ailing mother, as well as Petey, their highly dysfunctional Pug dog, it's no wonder busy Al is looking forward to a little rest and relaxation. As the gang piles into Al's catering van and sets off for a week in Spring Valley, the peaceful village where Al's close pal Gretchen is soon to be wed, they have no idea how short-lived their vacation will be. Soon after arriving at the peaceful bed and breakfast, recently renovated by Gretchen and her fiance, Al experiences a paranormal episode more terrifying than anything she has ever encountered. A sinister apparition is determined to harm those on the grounds...but why? Al begins to suspect Gretchen's betrothed until events reach a level of paranormal that cannot be ignored. Gretchen is possessed, animals are behaving strangely, and inanimate objects come to life. The cemetary found on the property confirms that prior land owners died young and violently, reportedly at the hands of their own loved ones. Amid rumors of a witches curse, an eclectic cast of characters assemble to banish the malevolent spirit once and for all. Come along as quirkly Al Marche and her comrades delve into the mystery of a haunting hundreds of years in the making.

About the Author

Susan Ronayne is an ardent reader, writer, and paranormal fan. Her fascination with the supernatural developed as a result of actual childhood experiences while growing up in the Kansas City area. Susan takes great interest in tales of hauntings, particularly those involving historical sites, and she participates in ghost tours to further her studies whenever possible. These personal interests were the inspiration for Marche's Madness...the first novel of what will soon be a series surrounding the characters involved.
