Surprisingly good! I bought this book when it was recommended to me at a heavily discounted price by BookBub. I am so glad I was alerted to this because it was a really great read! I love the characters and really wish they would write this book again but from Jasmine/Miranda's POV! I really loved the characters and felt each one was a pleasure to get to know. I was surprised by Oakley and his dedication to Harlow. I thought he was definitely not trustworthy. The "challenges" were fun to read and very easy to picture in my head. Only issue I had was that I had to keep going back to the list of characters in the beginning of the book to remind me who the celebrities were and their plus ones. Also... the whole exes scene... I was so lost. I think it was just too many people to keep track of. It was a great premise and very fun to read. I'm writing this review with heavy eyelids because I was up late last night finishing the book (all in one sitting!) I will definitely look up other works by these authors.

Darwin's theory of romance: throw people into a stressful environment and transformations occur. This story is a very satisfying take on the reality show premise. 8 celebrities and their "plus ones" are placed in a house on a resort island. The show's developers have determined the pairings of soul mates based on a computer program. And the pairings have nothing to do with assumptions of existing relationships. Let the games begin. I found this book to be very fun while being thought-provoking about how relationships develop. The one area I found lacking was characterizations of baddies. And there were definite goodies and baddies. While we get a pretty good idea of the thoughts and motivations of the goodies, not so with the black hats. The confessional sessions would have been a good place for this, but basically all we get is, "Hi, I'm (fill in the blank, mr. Or ms. not worth the air expenditure). I'm evil, shallow, and self-centered cuz, well, cuz." A good villain is a terrible thing to waste.

Matched by Angela Graham and S.E. Hall Hall & Graham do it again. 5 stars worth of writing. This pair are not only great alone, when they get together its magic. I adore how the writing is seamless. These women are unbeatable.  Matched is a great story. The game is awesome. Can we have one for reals? The interactions between the characters is so raw and feels real in every way.  I love the couple matchups and also the wicked twists and turns.  I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book! The relationships that were formed were ones to be greatly admired. I hope we have such great and wonderful friends. It was great to see the loyalty the women had for each other. This was unlike anything I've ever read! It was sweet and hot at the same time!

Eight celebrities and their plus ones on a beautiful tropical island. Some brought lovers, some brought friends and others brought family. Brought them where and for what? On a reality television show for charity, which also has everyone's hearts on the line. The computer's have matched everyone with another contestant as their soul mate, but how will they figure out who belongs with who? And who will get hurt in the process? You know, I'm not a fan of reality TV, at all. I hardly, if ever, watch it, but I sure as heck enjoyed reading this story about it! I am going to be as vague as possible in this review because I really don't want to give a single thing away. There is one couple who came on the show, the football star and his high school sweetheart, feeling confident that they are each others soul mate. But will the show's computer agree with them? And can their love withstand the conniving contestants who will stop at nothing to win? There is also the sexy as sin motocross star with his cocky attitude and wicked smirk, who I instantly fell in love with, and his sweet little sister who you just want to see happy. Then there are, of course, evil women abound spreading their legs and causing trouble everywhere. There are buckets full of tension between several contestants and watching it all unfold was fascinating. Who will end up with who? Did the computer's get the soul mates right? Does it even matter what a stupid piece of electronics says? Gah! I loved every minute of it and there are some surprises and curve balls along the way. This was a fun and steamy read which is exactly what I expected from this duo.

As popular as reality shows have been, the premises of a romance story involving a reality show is a fun one. Although there were several surprises, I found myself trying to figure out who would be matched. The people I wanted to get together did, no matter how the computer had them matched. I really enjoyed the start of the book with the parts about the show but then the story took some turns that had me wondering what was going on in the house while other things were happening. Unfortunately, since the story takes place from one person's POV, except for the confessions, I was left with questions. I would love to read other characters' POV of what was happening in the house and in their forming relationships but it would be difficult to have other books since the reader would already know how things go/end. I was disappointed in the abrupt ending to the story. I realised I was on chapter 30 and knew there was so much more I wanted. A lot of the character and relationship development was missing. I was left wanting to find out so much more about the characters and how things continued in the house rather than the quick wrap up. I would love to read more about Harlow, Callie, Emma, Miranda, Cruz, Court, Adam, and Oakley but not sure how a story about them after the show would happen.

Matched in one word Magnificent, First I have to say I loved the unique idea of a 16 character cast. In the mansion I loved that the rooms were named after planets in the solar system I passionately love♥♥♥ Astronomy/Astrophysics the Universe is everything without it nothing would exist. My favorite room and planet of our galaxy not because of the residents, but for it's significance to my zodiac sign Aquarius is Uranus ¿ I was kept on my toes the entire time so many events occurred yet all flowed. I fell in live with Court Callahan and well even Wyatt the showoff. Jensen Hughes tore my heart apart, I really wanted him for myself along w/ Court at first, alas I only kept one Viking. Jasmine Cox or JJ/MM I loved her she's my best friend and I wanted to be Emma minus Cruz-control liked him a lot, but no thanks lol. Miles the telepath he's my man, Callie Cole, Harlow, Oakley Abrams, baby Peyton, Dana Myers were great too. Ivy Leak, Rachel Clown, Nadia Hyena unstable silly girls is all. Dalton Sharp indeed proved himself a fitness trainer. Tom was such a weirdo lol and Adam swoon worthy and then some. I don't want to spoil anything I hope i was cryptic. My eyes misted and my heart constricted at the ending just a heartfelt, relatable, genuine, humorous and sexy story. I wouldn't be opposed to bonus scenes for Matched ;) in the future. I give Matched Five Stars ♥♥♥♥♥ xoxo JJ Judith
