Matt Legend: Veil of Lies
Ghosts are not dead people. Something terrible doesn't want that known.

Matt Legend is caught between two worlds ─ Southern California where he lives and a whistle-stop in eastern Tennessee where he has been sent for the summer as a punishment. The uneasy balance between his worlds is shattered when in an ancient burial mound he encounters a human skeleton so enormous it takes his breath away (a Nephilim).

He is warned if he tells anyone terrible things will happen and terrible things do. Having a normal life ever again is out of the question as Matt and an alluring, irresistible, fearless Southern small-town girl he meets find themselves in a war against the spirit world. His discovery leads soon to still another. Like everyone he thought ghosts were dead people. He was wrong. They are joined by his cousin, a colorful hip-hop mogul wannabe and her brother, a fierce computer hacker. Things go from terrible to worse when the spirits mobilize to stop the reluctant demon fighters from exposing their meticulously-woven millennia-old ghost ruse. It's all-out war with take no prisoners and rivers of blood.

They soon discover the spirits have an even greater and far deadlier secret to protect ─ one having to do with extraterrestrials, who it turns out are not what they claim either. The demon fighters find themselves in a desperate against all odds race against time battling a supernatural foe bent on mankind's destruction. In the end four kids are all that stand between an unsuspecting humanity and an Armageddon hours away.

Matt Legend: Veil of Lies is Stranger Things meets Spykids meets Raiders of the Lost Ark. Stranger still it is inspired by real events.

About the Author

I am a writer living in Southern California. When I'm not busy crafting award-winning fiction that reduces the powers of darkness to whimpering crybabies, I can be found behind the controls of high-performance aircraft, my eye glued to the scope of a high-powered rifle or just putting free weights through their paces at the local gym.

Back in the fourth grade I happened across a book on the UFO abduction case of Betty and Barney Hill and life hasn’t been the same. Some people have a fascination with the supernatural. I am one. The light side, the dark side, it is all fascinating, however, I am all about battling the dark side, so not surprisingly, so are my characters. Just as strange things are known to happen on the sets of movies that deal with darkness, some very bizarre things have happened during the crafting of my novels. Stephen King personifies horror. I strive to do the same for the paranormal genre. I have employed my extensive knowledge of the supernatural in crafting this exciting, fast-paced groundbreaking series of novels that will turn how you perceive your world upside down.

The world we live in is becoming stranger by the day. We all feel it. Matt Legend is a series for the times. The truth is not out there anymore. It is here among us. Take the journey if you dare. You may not sleep as well nights but it is better to know what's here. And don’t go into the forest.
