About the Author

Katy McDermott is a copywriter and former pharmaceutical meeting planner who lives with her family outside Philadelphia. As a meeting planner, she enjoyed access to senior executives while remaining outside the "loop" of corporate politics. Once on site, she interacted with hotel staff and vendors, in addition to dozens of meeting freelancers. One day, she wondered what would happen if a meeting planner had to use behind-the-scenes knowledge to help solve a crime . . . that question was the beginning of this book.
