Born as Ronnie Eugene Rivers on March 15, 1957, third son of six siblings that include two older brothers and three younger sisters. I was raised by my mother, Thelma Rivers, and my grandmother Nettie Harris. I graduated from Highland Park High School where I excelled at football, basketball, baseball, track, and swimming.
