Messages from the Hidden Lake: Literary & Art Collection of Southern Peaks Public Library

Beneath the floor of the San Luis Valley in southern Colorado lies an extensive aquifer, created by sediments from prehistoric Lake Alamosa. Like a farmer irrigating a crop from this underground source, Friends of the Southern Peaks Public Library have tapped creative literary and art work from patrons. This collection speaks to Wind and other forces of nature, Wants & Needs, Gratitude, Memories, Possibilities, Journeys, and Endings.
