About the Author

Lisa Campbell has researched the life and career of Michael Jackson since the release of Off the Wall in 1979. She followed the fan hysteria with each album and tour, built an extensive Jackson video and print library, documented each award won and tracked his Billboard chart activity. Lisa attended personal appearances of Jackson's and was fortunate to see Jackson perform live several times.
Her first book, Michael Jackson: The King of Pop, published in 1993, chronicles his unrivaled career. The follow up, Michael Jackson: The King of Pop's Darkest Hour, published in 1994, examines the child molestation claims made against the pop star in 1993. With her latest effort, Michael Jackson: The Complete Story of the King of Pop, she completes the story of the incredible highs and lows of the life, career, tragic ending and lasting legacy of the one and only Michael Jackson.
Lisa Campbell lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
