Millington

In 1878, George Millington donated property for the first train depot connecting Memphis to Northern markets. By 1903, the town of Millington was incorporated. World War I pilots trained at Millington's Park Field, and nearby, Chickasaw Ordnance Works and the world's largest inland navy base greatly aided World War II efforts. Educators and activists Ida B.
