The de Vincent brothers are back—and so is the intrigue that surrounds them—in New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s sizzling new novel . . .

Nicolette Bresson never thought she’d return to the de Vincents’ bayou compound. It’s where her parents work, where Nikki grew up . . . and where she got her heart broken by Gabriel de Vincent himself. Yet here she is, filling in for her sick mother. Avoiding Gabe should be easy, especially when so much of Nikki’s time is spent trying not to be stabbed in the back by the malicious hangers-on who frequent the mansion. But escaping memories of Gabe, much less his smoking-hot presence, is harder than expected—especially since he seems determined to be in Nikki’s space as much as possible.

Gabriel spent years beating himself up over his last encounter with Nikki. He’d wanted her then, but for reasons that were bad for both of them. Things have now changed. Gabe sees more than a girl he’s known forever; he sees a smart, talented, and heartbreakingly beautiful woman . . . one who’s being stalked from the shadows. Now, Gabe will do anything to keep Nikki safe—and to stop the de Vincent curse from striking again.

Really good!

This one is so much better than book one! This one is about Nikki who has come back to the deVincent household to take over for her sick mother and work. Nikki left when she was 18 to go to college and but now she is back and determined to stay away from Gabriel. Oh, those two have a history...Gabe, though, is having none of that. He wants to be in Nikki's way and plants himself in her way every chance he gets. This story is filled with lots of sexy times and steam along with a bit of mystery and some intrigue and danger to keep it going. I definitely enjoyed this one. Thank goodness I am snowed in because I'm going in for the next one in the series! **Received this ARC for review**

As with any other JLA book, of course I added this to my TBR. And after reading the first one, I was definitely going to read this. And also just like with other JLA books, I loved it and now I can't wait for the next one! Nikki's mother and father have worked for the de Vincent brothers all her life. The de Vincent brothers have watched her grow up. But when an incident happens between her and Gabe right before she leaves for college, she decides to leave that chapter of life behind her.... Until her mother gets sick and she has to come back and work in her mother's place. Seeing Nikki reminds Gabe that she's not a little girl anymore. As the two begin getting back to being as close as they use to be, strange things continue happening at the de Vincent house. How does Gabe keep Nikki safe? Just like the first, I was super happy that this was written from both of their POV's. I always find it so interesting to read JLA's boy's POV. I love seeing the moment they realize that they love the MC or whoever it is they fall for. It never fails to be my favorite part of the book. And this one was no better. I loved seeing Gabe and finding out all the small secrets he was keeping throughout the story. Nikki was also a great character. Besides having a great name, she also was just as snarky as me. They were absolutely hilarious together and I remember lol-ing so many times. I also really liked the plot. I like that there was more to it than just having a weird house and some weird curses and them getting together. It all comes together at the end. It's not a surprise, however, it WILL make you want to jump into the book and throttle the person. As for the romance, I really loved seeing them together. It's rare that I am ok with them being just friends, but I liked them so much that I wanted them together no matter how. And the romance was pretty hot as well. That bathroom scene was one I read at work and my face heated in embarrassment, even when no one knew what I was reading. But JLA has always written some of my favorite steamy scenes, so there was no surprise that I would like this one as well. However, although I liked the plot, it did move rather slow. The beginning was setting up the story yes, but I don't think it had to take that long. And the romance didn't start until half the book was over, so it wasn't really anything happening. It just seemed like a constant state of setting the stage. I'm sorry, but a slow burn that takes up 200 pages just seemed a bit much to me. Of course I liked this. It's not my favorite of the series, but I can definitely say I will be waiting on pins and needles for this next one. JLA is always the one that can get me back in the reading mood. Thanks JLA for another great book boy and another great book!

The brother who will stand out this time will be Gabriel. As his personal journey develops, the other members of the family also present themselves and participate directly in the plot, showing that all the brothers are connected and that the dangers that surround them are threats to the three indiscriminately. If in the first book Gabe was the reserved and lonely middle brother, here he shows the story behind of his behavior, how much past actions made him into what he is today. Starting from the end of the previous book, where a phone call completely changes his life, Gabe now has to deal with an until now unknown responsibility, as he tries to deal with the frustration and lack of answers of the reason for such a secret, while at the same time accepting the fate of the woman he has always loved. Or thought he loved. With so many twists lately, the last thing he needs right now is that an old unfinished business from his past should come back to shake his already unstable life even further. Nicolette or Nikki returns to de Vincent's house after a long time away and the situation could not be worse. Her mother, who works as a family maid, is ill and Nikki will replace her at work. Dealing with her mother's illness, with Devlin's rude way, with the threats and humiliations of Sabrina and the terrifying house are things she can handle perfectly. But facing the man she's always been passionate about since adolescence is what she really dreads, especially with a fateful night being responsible for drastically changing their friendship. Gabe always caught Nikki's attention, and despite the difference in age and the fact that she was the maid's daughter, both were able to develop a friendship that began after an accident and Gabe saved her life. Since that day, she has become a kind of shadow behind him and the attention he had previously awakened gave way to a teenage passion on her part, until it became a very strong feeling. But Gabe had never seen her like this, he knew she was charmed by him, but he saw her as a friend, a girl. Until one night of mistakes destroys Nikki's heart and plunges Gabe into guilt. Now after so much time and with the two of them back to the same place where everything happened, will they be able to understand each other, or will the ghosts of the past interfere between the two? I loved their trajectory. Although Gabe frustrates me with some attitude and the way he treats Nikki when she comes back, I can understand the reason he's had this attitude, I can understand his guilt over what happened and the fact that she does not return his attempts to contact. With so much going on, so many changes he is facing, reconnecting with Nikki and knowing the person she became were important to him, she was responsible for bringing a certain normalcy to his world and making him realize that the girl he knew changed, grew, but he also changed, even if he did not realize it. It is a second-chance novel, where the time away served to show the characters that in the end the two complete each other, that the hurt, mistakes and feelings of inadequacy were in the past, and the important thing now is to build this journey together. The book has action, romance, fights and will make the reader stay tuned so as not to lose any detail of this intricate narrative. A good book, with a real and cute couple, with good doses of suspense and that presents some new pieces in this puzzle that is the de Vincent family. The next book will focus

I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.  This is the second novel in the de Vincent series by Jennifer L. Armentrout.  It can be read as a stand alone but I encourage you to read Midnight Sins too because it's another great book.  Moonlight Seduction features the middle brother Gabe and the house manager's daughter Nikki or Nic as he likes to call her.  Nikki has always had a fascination with Gabe that turned into more when she was a teenager.  There's a couple of hurdles between them though - money and age.  He has more money than God and she's 10 years younger.  But does that really even matter?  During this book some of the secondary characters really show their true colors.  You'll want to throttle them and hunt them down yourself to inflict damage.  Seriously.  Of course there's a time or two where you want to do that to the primaries too.   I enjoyed reading this novel...some questions were answered but then there's still one giant one at the end to figure out, which hopefully we will do in the third book.

I've got to be honest Moonlight Seduction has left we without words, I honestly did not see the MAJOR twists coming and I've been left a bit blindsided TBH. Utterly gripping, the plot metaphorically has me by the throat and left me gasping for air  While the plot has snippets of the underlying threads from Moonlight Sins, it really is Gabe's show. He has had a lot to take in within a short period of time; not only his warped family dynamics but also the ghosts of girlfriends pasts altering the course of his future and them to add the icing to the cake - the return of Nikki into his life after a 4-year self-imposed exile. The reasons for Nikki's prolonged absence and her reluctance to interact with Gabe on a personal level are quickly revealed and ensure a deep desire to protect Nikki from any further heartache. However, there is an undeniable spark between the two despite the 10 year age gap and Gabe's defense mechanisms which cause him to be utterly douche-tastic. The action and continuing sense of foreboding throughout Moonlight Seduction create a high level of tension and contribute to the compelling nature of the story as a whole. I veered between wanting to punch Gabe to utterly swooning over him. Secrets are uncovered while others are merely hinted at (Senator I have my eye on you) the path has been sown for the final installment, Moonlight Scandals, where the devil himself, Devlin, takes the spotlight. Will all the skeletons in the de Vincent's closet finally be exposed!!!! Well we have to wait until January 2019 not find out

Rating: 4.25/5 Get ready to get to back to the deceptive and mysterious De Vincent world. This time we get Gabe story’s and his powerful but denied connection to Nikki. Jennifer really undid herself in this one. The slow build romance will keep you on the edge of your seat and you might feel like throwing the book away from time to time. There’s a definitive attraction between those two but drama keep coming in the way (but hey it’s not a Jen’s book without drama!) The book was definitely a whirlwind of emotions and kept me on my toe. Nikki is a strong female character and I was glad she wasn’t taking any crap from Gabe. Don’t ask me why but I was expecting Gabe to be the sensible artist unable to act like an ass from time to time…I was wrong! True to be told he’s not in Dev’s category but his hot and cold attitude gave me whiplash a couple of times… but it did serve the story and helped the characters to do some growing up. Let me tell you that everything going on is worth the wait. When these two come crashing together it’s hot, raw and explosive. I loved the fact that they had a complicated background story, it gave more depth to their storyline. Because of that, the slow build between them felt more real. As for the mystery it’s still on. I can’t wait to get my answers about the De Vincent patriarch suicide (or is it murder?!) And is the family really cursed or is it someone working in the background to destroy them? We will have to wait to the third book to get answers, but I have no doubt it will be worth the wait. If you haven’t pick up this series yet what are you waiting for? Go for it, you’re in for one hell of a ride!

I'm a total JLA fan. While I really enjoyed Moonlight Sins, I had a different reaction to this one. I loved it. There is so much going on in this book. The secrets that were disclosed from the first book and the impact they're having, the freaky house, and the very complex relationship between Gabe and Nik are all just a part of it. Strange things keep happening to Nikki. What is going on and who's responsible or it is the house??? This author does a great job of making you wonder. And it's so fun to try and figure out all the little clues. As for the characters, most of our time is focused on Gabe and Nikki. Of course, we see the happy Lucian and Julia. The scary as all get out Devlin is there with his down right cruel fiancee Sabrina. Grrrr...I really do not like Sabrina. Maybe hate is the right word. And her creepy brother Parker? He's definitely in the hate zone. Both of them make me want to reach inside the book and slap them. As you can see, my emotions are involved, always a good sign. But the favorite? It's Gabe. Yeah, he's doing this yo-yo thing where he says things that make me mad and then he's a sweet as he can be but I still end up loving him. He's conflicted. He wants Nik, probably since they saw each other last...yeah that. No telling on that. Read it for yourself. But there are lots of issues. The ten year difference in their age is the simplest of the issues but Gabe can't seem to get his head wrapped around all of them and figure out what he really wants. His heart knows. His mind keeps debating it. But the thing is that he has the biggest heart and the kindest soul of any of the brothers. He brings her smoothies and does other really thoughtful things. The whole...yeah not telling you that either but it's sweet! And the way he loves her? Smokin' hot and yummy all mixed together to make him capture my heart. Nikki is strong and I really admire her willingness to help her mom when it's super hard on her. Her mom has no idea just how hard it is for her to walk back in the de Vincent estate. But she does it. And she isn't this demur little girl that bows her head and does what she's told. Nope. She talks back to even the scary Devlin. I loved that about her. When she told Gabe to clean his own rooms, I cheered! Of course, I still have questions. I had so many at the end of Moonlight Sins. Some are answered and new ones have joined on the list. Oh, there's one in particular that I really want to know the answer to. I NEED book three to find out the truth. I assume we will finally get all the answers in that book. Is it January yet? This is a good one. If you love to put the pieces together as well has have the sexy nice and hot, then you don't want to miss this one. I do think you can read it as stand alone. While you will enjoy it more if you've read Moonlight Sins, there is enough explanation to get by without it. Don't pass this one by. Good stuff, right here.

Excellent sizzling romance! The character in this book really turn up the heat! Gabriel de Vincent is everything a girl could want. Rich, smart, handsome, and full of dark secrets. Nicollette Bresson is no stranger to how the de Vincent family runs. When she being working for the family in her sick mothers place, old secrets and a hurtful past are dredged up. There are several plot twists and turns. No shortages on heat and sexy main characters. Definitely a one sit read. Grab this one and hit the pool or the beach, you will need to cool off after reading :)

6 Engrossing Stars Review by Allyson Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog Completely and utterly captivated by the suspense that lingers in the halls of the de Vincent Mansion yet again. Armentrout beguiled me with her words, her plot, her characters’ emotions and actions in Moonlight Seduction. I was infatuated with Moonlight Sin, the first book, yet now I am head over heels in love with Seduction. This is a short and to the point review for a brilliant continuation in the de Vincent series. There does not need excess words for such brilliance for Armentrout’s work! Even though Moonlight Seduction can be read as a standalone since it revolves around a different brother, I would advise to read Moonlight Sins as events and characters happen from the first book that I believe help shape this story. Gabriel de Vincent and Nicolette Bresson are two characters that take you on a emotional, all the feels, angsty roller coaster relationship. Add in some mysterious occurrences in the mansion that lead to some inspiring revelations and you have one epic book in your hands. Everyone needs to read this book, believe me when I say you won’t put it down once you begin! My heart is pounding to find out what will be in store for Devlin de Vincent. Can someone tame the ‘devil’ himself?

When Nikki returns after four years to the de Vincent house in New Orleans, she's 's while her mom is sick, she's not prepared to see Gabe de Vincent, her teenage crush - and she certainly doesn't expect to have a run in with him her first day on the job. And once Gabe has it out with her, he's determined to stay far away from the little girl he watched grow up - and not notice that she's most definitely grown up while she was away at college. As more unusual things happen to Nikki while she's working at the house, Gabe becomes increasingly protective, and the two spend more time together than either intended - and when they give in to the attraction they've both been trying to suppress, the chemistry is combustible. Their story is steamy, but the history they shared brings a sweetness to the mix you wouldn't expect from one of the de Vincent brothers. The way the relationship unfolds between Gabe and Nikki is timed perfectly - with just the right amount of adventure - intended or not - to solidify the growing bond. Jennifer L. Armentrout is a master of romance, and the de Vincent story proves that she is also a master of mystery and intrigue. A prominent american family with a long history rife with drama - the de Vincent's have too many secrets to count, and the mysteries that begin in the first book continue through the second - and leave plenty for us to uncover when the third book comes out. I have some theories running through my brain, and I can't wait to see if I'm on track or way off base.

I *feel* like this book could be read as a standalone. Moonlight Sins is much darker, so if that is your thing, you’re golden. But if you need to turn the lamp on, Moonlight Seduction is where it’s at. Moonlight Seduction gives off a Young & Restless vibe, which I enjoy. I grew up watching Soap Operas, so i’m no stranger to family-drama running the plot. And some W-T-H reveals throughout to keep the shock value going. The romance is HOT HOT HOT and the budding relationship moves at a believable pace. Overall, the story was good. I found myself a bit annoyed with Nikki and Gabe at times, though. I’m ready for a fresh take on romance, one that doesn’t involve a cocky male. But that’s just me.

The de Vincent stories are getting hotter and hotter. I thought Lucian and Julia's story in Moonlight Sins was hot. Whew! Nikki and Gabe blow them out of the water. This isn't your classic romance novel. Or even just a plain second chance romance. Moonlight Seduction is much more than that. Nikki has been in love with Gabe since she was old enough to remember. She followed him around and admired him for so long. Gabe thought of Nikki as a little sister until one night 4 years ago. But, can they move on from their mistake and become friends? At first, Gabe tells Nikki "I don't want anything to do with you and I want you to stay the hell away from me." This doesn't last very long. Just his smile is enough to make Nikki (and me) weak in the knees. "Oh, no, the man was smiling that smile that had gotten her into trouble all those years ago, and her stupid, stupid reckless heart jumped into her chest." Nikki is back home helping her family (Richard and Livie) who work for the de Vincents. Her mother is fighting cancer so Nikki takes on her role of housekeeper. Working for the de Vincent's oldest brother Devlin. Strange things happen around Nikki. She "falls" down the stairs. She gets the feeling that she is being watched. But, is it the haunted de Vincent house or something else? Could it be Sabrina Harrington, Devlin's fiancee? Or her creepy brother Parker? Who has cornered and threatened Nikki and her family multiple times. Can it be the de Vincent family curse? The story is just creepy enough that it could be both a person and the supernatural. The story has a slow passionate build. At one point, Nikki tells Gabe she is going on a blind date with a man named Gerald. Gabe teases her relentlessly and even shows up at the restaurant. Things start to get HOT HOT HOT. They finally have their first kiss and its like the fourth of July. Fireworks everywhere. So far, this has been my favorite in the series. I am really looking forward to Devlin's book. Especially, since, Jennifer has paired him with Rosie. Rosie is BFF's with Nikki. She is already hilarious. I can not wait to see how she gets under Devlin's skin.

Moonlight Seduction, like Moonlight Sins, was intriguing. It started out a little slower with learning about Nikki and Gabe's history and all of the de Vincent drama, but it picked up as it went on. There was always a bit of mystery in the book that kept me curious as to what happened and therefore kept me interested. I liked Gabe from what I knew from Moonlight Sins, he seemed like the most level headed. That's still probably the case, but there's also a lot more to him that was unveiled. He has a lot going on his life and a lot more happens throughout the book. There definitely isn't a dull moment in the de Vincent household. Nikki is a sweet and caring girl, but she's also a tough cookie and won't put up with a lot. Once the book got going, it really got going! So much happened in a short period of time, it kept my head spinning. It was really interesting, yet emotional. I have no idea what to expect from Dev in Moonlight Scandals. I'm intrigued by him, but also nervous in a way because I don't know what to expect from him, and let's face it he's often a stone cold jerk. I'm hoping to see another side of him and I'm sure we will because JLA has never disappointed me =)

HOLY... With the De Vincent brothers back in my Kindle, I fell in love with Gabriel -- OR Gabe as it comes to be. While this is the second book in the series, I could also see it being a stand-alone. Devlin's book is going to be hot as he drives you crazy in this one but this one is one that is emotionally heartbreaking and erotic. People say they want a dark romance and in some sense, Jennifer L Armentrout delivers just that. It is dark and sexy. Moonlight Seduction follows Nikki, the daughter of the De Vincent house caretakers. She went to college to avoid the consequences of a steamy night with Gabe. He broke her heart that next morning so she turned around and left, not a second glance back. She never thought that she would have to go back to the mansion and see the brothers -- Specifically Gabe after that night until her mother fell ill. She helps her mother by filling in at the mansion where her sense will be overloaded by Gabe. As the story unravels, I fell deeper in love with Gabe and Nikki's relationship. With forces driving them apart, this book will be emotionally heart tearing. There is so much sexual tension in these pages that you may need to stop and fan yourself. Their relationship is beautiful and I sum up it by saying that I would love a guy who looks at me the way Gabe does at Nikki: "A smile appeared, and damn, she went from gorgeous to mind-numbingly beautiful in a nanosecond" -JLA

So I started this book intrigued about what we were going to find out about Gabe. He always seemed like the most likable brother, but you can tell there was something dark surrounding him too and you just want to know what it is. The story begins a bit after where the first one ended. Nikki comes to work at the De Vincent’s mansion to help out her parents since her mom is sick. Though she didn’t particularly wanted to come back, she does it for her family. Seeing Gabe is not something she was really wanted. But Nikki has grown and even if she still has a big heart, she doesn’t let anyone step over her, least of all Gabe even if she’s still torn about him. Gabe has a lot to deal with in this book and adding Nikki to the mix wasn’t something he expected. Seeing her again brought him back the last time they saw each other and he still holds some anger towards the situation. Gabe may be the “nicest” one, but he isn’t all that good and Nikki reminds me of that forcing him to deal with things he would prefer to forget. But from the moment you realize what their past problems entailed, you know that it can only going to get worse or better; there was just no in-between for these two characters. They were going to go all in or just go different ways. The attraction between the two of them is obvious even if Nikki is trying hard to reign it in as she doesn’t want to be hurt again and Gabe is trying to pass it off by being a lot meaner to her than her actually needs to. Until several events keep bringing them together, Gabe offers a peace offering trying to regain the friendship they used to have. A friendship where the lines are soon blurred as they finally let go of their restrains. But as they explore their new fragile territory, a lot is happening at the mansion and outside of it. Drama that seems to try to end them one way or another, either inner demons or outside threats, Nikki and Gabe will a lot of their plates in this book. Because there’s always something happening in this book and you will be hooked from chapter to chapter. I know it’s REALLY vague, but so much I would like to tell you to make you to read this book, but I do not want to spoil this book for you because each time I wrote something in this review, I was trying hard not to spoil anything for you. But like always, Jennifer L. Armentrout knows how to keep guessing and wanting more. But let’s just say you will learn a lot more about the brothers’ past and as more scandals about the family may be revealed, the tension in the house can be felt. What else can I say? Well, you will meet Rosie in this book. She’s Nikki’s best friend and such an interesting character and I really liked her and I’m really looking forward to read more about her in the next book. Now I just need Devlin’s book because I know that this book is probably going to be the one filled with a lot more mystery than the two previous brothers. There’s something about Devlin that drags you in and you just can’t shake off.

Well, Gabe was one of the main things I liked about the first book, so I was really excited to see he was getting a story and yet, I’m fairly disappointed. I liked Nikki and Gabe well enough. She’s smart and sassy and loyal. He’s got a lot of potential, but since he’s used to getting everything he wants, he comes across as a jackass most of the time. The growth of their relationship didn’t ring true to me: she was still a smitten teenager and he was still a jackass. However, can we please get 100 more pages of Rosie? She was fantastic. Plot wise, it was a lot of drama filled push and pull. There were an abnormal amount of references to Gabe’s bare feet. The build up was quite slow and it felt like the story wasn’t going anywhere, but eventually there were a couple of reveals that did redeem the story a bit and not make this a 2 star read. Overall, this was fairly lackluster to me. It’s only because of those things that I will be reading the next book. FYI: there are several scenes of forceful unwanted groping and super gross leering. There is also a scene of an attempted rape, but she gets away. **Huge thanks to Avon Books for providing the arc free of charge**

Moonlight Seduction is told from dual points of view and picks up pretty much where the last book left off. Only this time, we get Gabe and Nikki’s story…..The last place Nikki ever thought she’d find herself was back at the de Vincent home. But, when her mom gets sick, she has no choice but to return home and help her mom out. Filling in for her mom should be easy, but seeing Gabe again brings a whole set of challenges to the surface. You see, Nikki has been in love with Gabe for as long as she can remember. She thought she left her feelings in the past, but being in this house stirs up all the memories…all the pain. She tries to stay away, but how can she when Gabe is determined to make his presence known…..For years, Gabe has felt guilty for the way things were last left off with Nikki. He’s wanted nothing more than to talk with her and make things right. He knows he should keep away from her, but he just can’t fight the pull. Things are different now. The same excuses don’t seem to work. Gabe’s eyes have finally been opened and he’s now a man on mission. He will do anything to get what he wants and will do anything to keep his family safe. And when a new threat presents itself, Gabe’s devotion will be put to the test….. Man, Oh, Man! This series is a total new favorite for me by this author. It is additive, consuming and completely captivating. The writing is brilliant and the story-line is just so intriguing. I mean, how can you not be fascinated by the de Vincent family?? The money. The stigma. The lies. The deceit. The curse. I love learning more and more with each book. And if that wasn’t enough, you have the de Vincent brothers. They are a lethal combination in more ways than you could imagine. Mysterious. Cold. Rude. And Sexy as ever. They are perfectly imperfect and you won’t find a more devoted family. They will protect one another, no matter the cost… And that brings us to Gabe. He frustrated me like no other. He was everything you could want in a bad boy. He definitely wasn’t perfect and always seemed to say the wrong thing. But, when he messed up, he more than made up for it. He was passionate, determined and just the guy to turn Nikki’s world upside down. And Nikki…She has such a big heart and the patience of a saint. She tolerated a lot more than I would have, but definitely knew how to play the game. She’s the kind of girl you’d kill to have in your corner. I just loved Nikki and Gabe together. Their chemistry was explosive. You could tell the connection and feelings these two had were genuine. I loved their pull and the would they/won’t they moments. Nikki fell hard and fast for Gabe when she was just 16 years old and despite how much she wished it was different, those feelings never faded. Their journey to happily ever after wasn’t an easy one. Not only did Gabe make things hard for her, but this is the de Vincent family!!! You know there would be crazy things thrown their way. All I can say is just sit back and enjoy. You are about to be taken on one heck of a ride!! Moonlight Seduction was a thrilling read from beginning to end. It had me on the edge of my seat and kept me begging for more. From mystery and intrigue to danger and some seriously sexy good times, this book had it all. The story-line is captivating and will just leave you breathless. I absolutely enjoyed Gabe and Nikki’s story. I’m becoming a huge fan of this scandalous and a bit crazy family. Second chance romances are usually one of my favorites and when you throw into the mix some suspense, action, intrigues and a bit of mystery, then I’m completely sold. This book had all the feels a typical JLA book has and her trademark signature all over it. It grabbed me from page one and I was grinning like an idiot with the witty banter between Gabe and Nikki and their slow-burning feelings that they were both trying to fight. It was such a sweet build-up of emotions that will make you sigh, swoon and melt your heart. I had a thing for Gabe since Moonlight Sins and after its ending, I was so eager to dive into his story. He pissed me off a bit in the beginning with his stupid attempt to play cold and trying to distance himself. I wanted to shake him really badly and maybe slap him a time or two :) It was obvious to me that he was a nice, kind, attentive guy who loved deeply and was very protective of his family. For various reasons, he was trying to hide this attraction for Nikki, but it was too strong and impossible to suppress for too long. Nikki was also trying on all cost to protect her heart and not show her true feelings. She seemed pretty vulnerable on the inside, but I loved her feistiness and the way she didn’t put up with anyone purposefully trying to hurt her. And boy, there were quite a few of those. The suspense element in this story wasn’t as strong in this book as it was in the first one, but the romance part was swoonworthy and completely warmed my heart. There was a long time of push and pull and building of anticipation, but it was so worth it at the end. You could feel the sexual tension flowing from the pages. This slow-burning desire and undeniable chemistry between Gabe and Nikki were off the charts hot. And little by little this simmering fire turned into a raging inferno. When they finally succumbed to their feelings and gave up to the temptation and I was melting under this sweet romantic relationship that was growing stronger with each page, and then BAM – everything went out of control in one second. The ending part was so action-packed but also eye-opening for both of them. Besides, I’m falling madly in love with this whole family and their weird history and the scandals that surround them. It was so good to see how Lucian and Julia’s relationship has progressed in this book. My heart was overflowing with joy every time they made an appearance. Although this is a second book in this series it could be read as a stand-alone. All the important details from book one were explained in here, but if you plan on reading them all, I advise you to start from Moonlight Sins, because you may get spoiled for it if you read Gabe and Nikki’s story first. With all that said, I highly recommend this book. It was cute, not overly dramatic, but with some serious nail-biting moments at the ending part. The writing is beautiful and has Jen’s unmistakable style all over. It will captivate you from the start, make you sigh, swoon, laugh, drool, shout and maybe want to kill a character or two, but I guarantee – you would be sucked in this story and wouldn’t want it to end. And now with everything that happened at the end, I can’t wait to get to the bottom of all those scandalous things to be revealed in Moonlight Scandals and I’m so curious for Devlin’s story. I know it will be worth the wait.

Moonlight Seduction is book 2 in the de Vincent series, but it could be read as a standalone. The story was a bit slow in the beginning, getting the background of Nikki and Gabe, but when it eventually picked up, it really picked up! It was full of angst, drama, suspense, mystery, and sexiness. Nicolette aka Nikki aka Nic, is a 22 year old who's helping her family fill in at the de Vincent's while her mom is going through chemo. She's strong, sweet, caring, loyal, and doesn't put up with a lot of crap. I like how she stood up to her "betters" and refused to take whatever was being thrown her way (unless they threatened her family). Gabriel aka Gabe aka Demon, is 32 years old and has some personal stuff going on in his life that he's trying to keep on the down-low. Honestly, he's a dick in the beginning, but then he turns into a caring, loyal, protective man. What I didn't like about him was his wishy-washy feelings towards Nikki. It was a constant back and forth it seems for most of the story. There were many times he'd be sweet, say some a$$holish stuff, then apologize later. Granted, I'm glad he was man enough to apologize when he knew he was in the wrong. All in all, this was a good read. The ending was whoa! I'm truly looking forward to Dev's story because I wan't to know what makes him tick! Thank you Jenn for this ARC. This is my honest review.

Nicolette was almost raised with the De Vincents, her mother and father working for them, Nicolette was often present after school. She has always been attracted to Gabe and even though he has ten more than her, this attraction has obviously not changed. Nicolette is back because her mother is sick, so she has agreed to replace her until she feels better. She'll have to face Devlin, Gabriel and Sabrina, Devlin's fiancée who has a crush on Gabe. I really liked Nicolette, she is refreshing, she doesn't let herself get carried away, she regrets what happened the last time she saw Gabe but she can't get it out of her head. I also love his girlfriend Rosie, she's just great. Gabriel is sexy and intelligent, I like the fact that he has a job he likes, that he knows how to work with his hands and above all he is so nice. His past isn't all rosy, but still I think Gabe's doing great. He tries to make the right choices, he is sometimes a little clumsy when he wants to express himself but in the end everything works out. Sabrina is a first-class bitch, I don't understand how people like her and her brother can be so mean, and yet. They really deserve to rot in hell. I preferred this second book, I found Gabe and Nicolette more endearing, I don’t know if it is their common past or just that these two characters are perfect. Anyway, I can't wait to read Devlin's story because I think it's going to be pretty funny. Quick word: A second brother very charming and endearing to discover quickly.
