Della-Giustina is a Professor in the Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering and the Safety and Environmental Management Program, College of Engineering and Mineral Resources at West Virginia University. He has published over 125 articles and fourteen textbooks in the discipline of safety, health, and environmental studies, and he has appeared as an expert witness in safety and health liability cases for the past twenty years in numerous cities throughout the United States.
