Joy Don Baker and Terri Goodman were nursing students in the '70s, like the principal characters in their four novels. None of the Nursekeeters' exploits are based on the authors' personal experiences, however they remained true to the reality of that era. Both Baker and Goodman are well-established leaders in perioperative nursing and published authors in nursing professional literature.
