New York Times and USA Today Best Selling author Nina Bruhns hopes you enjoy this short holiday story!
All NYPD Vice Detective Nick Palladin wants for Christmas is a transfer to the K-9 Unit. He just needs to close this one last big case first--shutting down a human trafficking ring run by a scummy veterinarian. Which is why he's out on a street corner dressed as Santa Claus, ringing a bell and taking covert photos of the vet's customers, hoping one of them might be the link he needs to put the bastard out of business for good.
But Nick's irrepressible terrier has a very different Christmas wish. Airedale Zenon--cleverly disguised as Rudolph--has set his sights on a cute little perfumed fluff ball trotting his way...along with the adorably sexy lady holding her leash. When the two are suddenly accosted, well, what's a gentleman--canine or Santa--to do? Why run to the rescue, of course! And hope for the best holiday gift ever...true love.

Must Love Santa is a fun and sexy short story sure to put a little jolly in your holiday. Nick is a detective that is dressed as Santa, undercover, staking out a vet that he suspects has criminal ties. He promised a young girl he would avenge her death, so he agrees to act as Santa on his days off to keep an eye on the vet’s office. Emily stumbles in front of him, literally, and their dogs take off to the park for some fun of their own. Later, Nick shows up to return Emily’s wallet (with dinner in tow) and they both skip right to dessert. Nick’s dog, Zenon, and Pogo, Emily’s friend’s dog that she is taking care of, are the real stars of this book! I couldn’t stop laughing at their shenanigans. The dogs even played a big part in the mystery within the story. Loved that! Overall, I really enjoyed this book and all that it entailed. It’s a GREAT way to pass the afternoon. *I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.
A vice cop as Santa Claus and his dog on stakeout, and a chance encounter with a women walking her dog leads to ..... With lots of erotic expicit sex this is the steamy version. There is also a sweet version of this story available separately. The steamy version is also the second story in a .99 boxed set of the Christmas Brides.
A great edition to the Ten Christmas Brides box set. Book 2 in the Ten Christmas Brides Box set. I have never read some of the author's books but I had a delightful time reading this Christmas romance from her pen. The interaction between the two main characters; well actually four: we cannot ignore the two dogs roles in this book. They would simply steal your heart from the start, their infatuation with each other was what brought the two owners together. It is a wonderful love story that will make you believe in the miracle of Christmas as the plot unfolds. It's filled with enough drama and suspense to give it a slight edge to make this more than just a love story. The subject of human trafficking is still a very serious issue and needs all the attention it can get; even from a love story. But the two lovers definitely had my vote; they complimented each other perfectly. Both had certain goals that they wanted to reach, both were willing to sacrifice but when the bad guy showed his ugly colors the focus shifted. A great story for this time of year, with a well written plot and wonderful flow to it all. So far I am enjoying this box set from the various authors.
