From New York Times Bestselling Author GINNY BAIRD, a new laugh-out-loud romantic comedy...

My Best Friend's Bride

Relationship expert Jillian Jamison is in a bind. While her first book was a successful bestseller, her second tome tanked. Now, her publisher wants a spin on the third book, Married Love: Keeping Those Home Fires Burning, that's up close and personal. With financial pressures mounting and sole responsibility for her aging grandfather, Jill feels forced into wedlock in order to appease her publisher and keep her job. But it's only for a year, and she's devised a plan with her long-term friend. When Brad backs out due to problems with his real girlfriend Susan, Jill fears she'll be left standing alone at the altar. Then Brad offers a solution: Jill can marry the one man on earth she despises...his handsome best friend.

Hunter Delaney is a confirmed bachelor and that's how he likes it. When his best friend, Brad, approaches him with an unusual contract, he's determined to run for the hills, especially since the name on the paperwork is international celebrity Jillian Jamison, the woman who spurned him in high school. Hunter would rather do anything than spend twelve months of his life saddled with her. But he has a soft spot for Brad, who's in a predicament, so Hunter agrees to consider Brad's proposal. When Hunter learns he's getting passed over for a promotion because the family-oriented client only wants to work with someone who's married, this clinches the deal.

Hunter is "in" for as long as he can stand it. Jill is not thrilled with the arrangement either. But really, what choice does she have? Even if it has to look authentic on the outside, between her and Hunter it's just pretend. Besides, she reasons rationally, she's already got the dress...

Being a relationship expert is hard work. Just ask Jillian Jamison. She needs to write a successful book if she's going to take care of her grandpa. She gives in to her publisher's demand that she find a husband. It's necessary if she's going to write a blockbuster book on making a marriage work. Finding a in-name-only groom is easy, she'll get her friend, Brad. When he backs out. Hunter Delaney, a notorious womanizer, agrees to be the groom. Their encounter twelve years ago didn't go well and now they'll be married. What could possibly go wrong? Jill is a feisty woman who knows the pain of rejection and loss. I like her spunk and her determination. She may be attracted to her temporary husband but she won't give in. Hunter has worked hard for his promotion to partner. He wants to be successful to prove himself. His parents were always absent and didn't support him. He thinks that he's been a kind and attentive lover and doesn't understand why all his relationships failed. It was interesting seeing these two learn to live together and to care for one another. When their ruse is discovered, I wanted them to rely on each other. I was sad that they hid their feelings and grew apart. This was a charming story where romance ruled. The secondary characters were interesting and provided more love and happiness to the story. I love small town settings. Sugar Hollow was perfect. Ginny Baird wrote a story filled with a love and a HEA that left me feeling happy.

Another great read from Ginny Baird! I could not put this down until the very end, but even then I wanted to keep reading.  Jill needs to marry, so she talks her best friend into having a marriage agreement that will only last for one year. When he backs out from being her groom he offers to have his best friend step in as his replacement. Jill had a crush on Hunter in high school, but she hasn’t really spoken to him since the night he tried to get her into the back seat of her car.  Hunter doesn’t want anything to do with marriage, even if it’s to help his best friend. Especially, if it involves being married to Jill. But when he finds out the only way he’ll get the promotion to partner he has worked so hard for is to be a married man, he agrees to sign Jill’s contract to help him get the partnership. As long as no one finds out the truth it will work out perfectly. How hard can it be?  I received a complimentary copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

A fun entertaining twist on the marriage of convenience trope! How believable is a "Relationship Specialist" that can't seem to maintain a relationship?? So Jillian Jamison plans to marry her best friend. When he backs out and sets her up with his friend Hunter Delaney, Jillian's best laid plans are completely derailed, but it may just be what she needed in her life! Really enjoyed this one. Very well written with a great story and characters. I definitely recommend this one.

A twist on the marriage of convenience between Jill and Hunter. Jill is an author/expert relationship and needs to write her third book, Married Love: Keeping Those Home Fires Burning, this book is suppose to be up close and personal. Jill is suppose to marry her best childhood friend, Brad. Brad backs out at the last minute but gets his confirmed bachelor friend, Hunter to step in. Anything can last a year. This marriage will also look good for Hunter and his job. What neither was counting on was their emotions that come into play. This is a fun, entertaining sweet romance that will leave you smiling through out the story. A well written book with great character dialouge, along with a secondary characters. I highly recommend this fun read.

Jill is a best selling relationship author whose second books has tanked. Now she has to clench this third book deal or she will have major problems. The only problem is : she stinks at relationships. And when her best friend throws an idea at her involving Hunter she is completely against it. Or is she really? Hunter is vying for a big account and partner at his ad firm. But what do they want, a family man. When his best friend throws an opportunity his way how can he refusees. Especially since it involves Jill. Although he hasn't seen her in years he still remembers her from high school and their one night of misunderstanding and humiliation. As these two embark on their farce of a marriage they begin to see how relationships really work and can see themselves falling for each other. But when gossip attacks them will they stand up to it and fight for their happy ending or will they accept what has always been and walk away? I really enjoyed this sweet romantic read. It was a heartwarming look into two people who thought they couldn't or didn't deserve love. And who grew to an open and real love for each other. Loved it!

My Best Friend's Bride by Ginny Baird This story has a fast paced plot with a storyline that leads to romances between other characters. It's like a birthday when you expect one present opening that giant package. Instead, you get three or four presents as you delve deeper into that box. The author uses relationships between the characters as another avenue to surprise the reader. This book has you thinking about yourself and analyzing how you view relationships. However, before you get nervous, please remember that this book is an entertaining romantic love story with a little intrigue thrown in for excitement. I was given an ARC for review. I loved the book. It was very well written. I would highly recommend it!!

My Best Friend's Bride is a little different from the usual marriage of convenience story. Jillian was supposed to marry her best friend Brad but ended up marrying Brad's best friend Hunter when he backed out. Jillian despies Hunter because of something that happened in their past while Hunter thought that Jillian was "stuck-up". However, when they meet again for the first time after so many years, their attraction to each other was something both had not expected. I enjoyed the development of the relationship between Jillian and Hunter and also Jillian's pets Fifi and Mimi. I thought there were several scenes that were really funny. I was a little surprised at the thoughtfulness of Hunter since he was really against the idea of marrying Jillian at first. And I thought the story isn't totally well-developed. There seems to be some parts that don't gel together very well. But overall, I enjoyed the book and thought it was a really sweet story. I especially like the ending of the book. * I received an advance copy of the book for an honest review from the author.

Ginny Baird's My Best Friend's Bride.   Do best friends share everything….Even a Bride?? Wait, it is  not as it sounds. Jillian and Brad are friends since childhood. Both are single but  Brad is going to marry Susan. Jill needs a husband for a year to write and promote her books successfully. Her aging  grandfather’s care depends on her book sales. Brad makes an excellent choice for a fake one year marriage. Susan decides Brad should not go through with this fake  marriage so Brad asks his best friend, Hunter to marry Jill. Hunter gets passed over for a promotion. Even though Hunter’s ideas and work habits are excellent…he is “ Single”.  Solution… marry Jillian for a year. Can they pull this fake marriage off with a company investigator following Hunter  and a gossip columnist watching Jillian’s every move? The characters were very realistic. Each one brought their own  flavor to the story. The shenanigans and dynamics between some of the characters  added humor within this story. There are multiple romances and beautiful friendships that  develop throughout Jillian and Hunter’s predicament.  Great quick read. Thank you to the author for this eBook. My opinion is my own.
