My First Feelings

This is an easy-to-read children's book about emotions. Young children, particularly toddlers, and preschoolers, will identify and understand their primary emotions with simple facial expressions, such as happy, sad, mad, and scared.

Feelings are reactions to emotions. Naming feelings is the first step in helping children learn to identify them, and it communicates to children that these feelings are normal while encouraging trust in their loved ones to talk about them.
