About the Author

Jaimey first delved into the Regency time period a decade ago and hasn't stopped since. After several years of tapping away at a keyboard for her own entertainment, she finally took the next step and self-published four of her Regency romances in 2008. In 2010, she signed a contract with TreasureLine Publishing.

SHORT AND SWEET!! I felt so sad right away for Maria and disliked Richard at the beginning. If people would just learn to communicate, no matter what Century we are in. But, I did enjoy the HEA, I just wished the author would have included an Epilogue a year or so in the future. It is free, and you might be surprised and enjoy yourself reading this novella. (ljb)

This was a good story that could have been fantastic. It is written more like a plan for each chapter then a actual book, the chapters are not even called chapters but parts(10 in total). Don't get me wrong they are written well but characters and a plot I would loved I never got the chance to bond with and sink into. There were just to many missing part with the plot and characters(and nothing written from the lead male character point of view). I am dissapointed and sad because this is a story that if developed I would have RAVED about. That been said I will see if their are any cheap or free books by this author to see if she has improved with any finished/complete books. Just over 130 pgs on my nook.

Past tense of drag is dragged! As in......... it dragged on! Sorry to sound like a grammar police but the school teacher in me feels like someone should have corrected her/him or else she will only do it again.

A well-written free 147 page story in formal style of a regency marriage with love but very little trust. After all, one must believe all the gossip about your spouse without asking or discovering the facts of the situation from the parties involved.
