The book is very relatable to teens and young adults going through similar things and dealing with certain stresses. It’s funny, yet sad and every emotion in between. I like how the author writes about her own experiences while at the same time giving advice for teens in the same situation. Eva connects with her audience on that level and she understands the hilarity and the pain of growing up. The book shows audiences how just because you are a celebrity, you don’t have a perfect life even though it may appear that way on Youtube and social media. It’s inspiring and heartfelt but gritty in the sense that it doesn’t scare you but it’s real and suitable for young teens. I recommended it to my sixteen year old cousin who read it in an earshot and loved it! The pictures add a nice touch and overall the book is a great self help book for young adults without being boring or fake. The self-help is real and is written by someone in the same shoes as some of these young adolescent girls who need guidance. I love how the book is a memoir but it’s just full of wordy and long chapters. The book is broken up into sections with cool pictures and illustrations that make the book more enjoyable to read.

I got a free sample on my nook, and in the first chapter, she pretty much says that education isn't important, and what's really important is the life skills you learn in hs. The thing is, not all of us can make a career out of making videos and posting them on youtube. Most of us WILL use Pythagoras and fibinacci. That's why I have a problem already. But other than that, it's a good book!
