My Story

On March 15, 1937, Don Nordine was born the last of nine children in a poor Oklahoma family. He learned life lessons and skills through trial and error in uncertain times in America as he grew up on the farm. Amid the early loss of his father and World War II rationing, Nordine’s mother led him and his brothers in the Lord’s Prayer and the 23rd Psalm every night.
