I wrote about my experience as a Battalion Surgeon with the Marines in Viet Nam 1967-68. I was 26 years old and my training as an MD was a 1-year surgical internship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. By June, 1967 the war had escalated and the US would be sending as many as 500,000 men to Viet Nam.
