My Why Journal is not only the key to opening the door of communication and building strong relationships with our children, but a beautiful keepsake to treasure for a lifetime. In the business of life, we often times find ourselves giving our children short answers to the many questions that they ask us. Sometimes, if the questions are too difficult or the timing isn't right, we shut them down completely. But that doesn't make the question go away. These questions they ask and the answers they receive to even the smallest inquiries are building blocks to the foundation of learning and moreso, to having great relationships with our children, even as they get older. My Why Journal gives children the opportunity to write out a question that they'd like to explore further. Within each question prompt, there is a space for the parent to write an answer back and provide scripture to support the response if desired. This journal not only opens the door to communication with our kids, but it keeps a precious record of the exchanges for your child to look back on as he or she gets older.
