Valencia Daniels lives at the intersection of love and righteous fury. She came to the US as a girl of thirteen from her native Guyana, and brought with her a love of great food, great literature, and vibrantly diverse culture. She is the mother of two kind, compassionate, confident boys, and has worked for more than a decade at a not for profit dedicated to combating institutional injustices in the American legal system.
