The story people have been eagerly awaiting!!! Luke Denton and Cassie Lopez’s story finally presented to you in stunning detail.   No story has gripped me this emotionally in a very long time.  Book 6 in the Rescue Me Saga does not disappoint.  Beginning in   the mountains of Colorado where we find Cassie desperately trying to figure out what to do to get Luke off her mountain and into anyone elses hands.  She doesn’t want to be a nursemaid to a guy who just got trapped on her mountain with her thanks to an avalanche that took out his truck.  Nor does she want to have him stick around overly long.  Lucky for us he is forced to stay thanks to Mother Nature.  Luke is able to start to learn about Cassie and to see what type of person she truly is.  Not the stand offish woman  he has always seen but a strong woman in her own right who has learned to take care of herself but has to overcome a past trauma  to fully heal and embrace life and love again.   Through time he does learn about her ,and what he realizes is what he learns he wants  to know more about.   Throw in some suspense, an overbearing relative that totally butts his nose into Luke and Cassie’s business ,   some natural disasters, horse whispering and oh yes a developing romance with a very reluctant Peruvian woman.  Not to mention catching up with Karla and Adam and the birth of their babies as well as the rest of the MAA group.   Sit back and enjoy the ride.  There are so many twists and turns you will truly gasp out loud one minute, cry the next then end up sighing in contentment.    What a wonderful way to spend the day….

Very disappointed in this book after waiting for so long. It was too long and drawn out. Cassie and Luke seemed to lack the connection the others had. Overall it was super disappointing.

Luke and Cassie's story of healing and happiness had me on the edge of my seat. It is full of emotional detail that pulls you into the characters feelings. You will literally feel their pain, happiness and excitement. The story picks up right where they left off with Luke in Cassie's bed after the avalanche. While Cassie will do what she has to to save Luke's life she really wants him to get better and them to clear her road so he can get off her mountain. That way she can go back to hiding from the world and her past. Luke is that country boy full of country boy charm that makes his way though Cassie's walls of self protection. Kallypso Masters has a great gift of making sure that her readers feel every emotion that her characters are currently feeling. This series always leaves you waiting for the next book and this book is no different. The Rescue Me family invites you to experience their journey to happiness, and love while dealing with life circumstances that have kept them from their happily ever after.

I could relate to this book because of my own traumatic experiences. I love they way you worked up to the intimacy and the fact that there are men out there that can be patient and help you heal. Like my own hero of twenty years. Thank you

Best book of all! My favorite before now was Adam & Karla's story. Very thorough, very passionate. I love how the other characters were in this story as well. I had moments of laughter & moments of tears throughout. Thank you Kally for another amazing book!

I love this series but this one didn't pull me in as well as the others. Plus I was hoping for some more of Adam and Karla since it was supposed to be two books in one. Didn't much feel like it. Anyway, still a good book and still great series overall maybe I just got me expectations too high.

I loved and enjoyed reading the passionate & heartbreaking, engaging & captivating, erotic, love story of Cassie and Luke.  Through the never ending endurance, love, and patience of Luke, Cassie overcomes her insurmountable fears   and together Luke and Cassie forge an intimate and impassioned loving, lasting relationship. Read the highly recommended, beautifully written novel by the extraordinarily, talented author Kallypso Masters.

After a long wait, I think my expectations were really high, but sadly I was disappointed. I thought the characters lacked emotion and believability. I mean really...after eight years Luke is still dreaming of his dead wife? And why did Savannah keep calling little Mari "dear", or why did Karla call Adam "sir" even during labor, and what's with the ker-plunk stuff? I found myself skimming over page after page and that's never a good sign....

This was another great story by Kally. I felt the pain the characters felt in this one. Lots of healing too. I might just read the next series.

I love the whole series. She has so much love with just the right amount of kink to keep you reading. You can really tell she loves all the characters in her books. I do recommend you read in order so you can fall in love with each person.

These books are an aquired taste. I personally don't care at all for the males and female "Doms" with their 'master of the universe' attitudes. I have purposefly bought this last novel though because I was interested about how Adam and Karla ended up. I liked this book. I liked how Luke did not force his "dominant side" on Cassie through this book. He let her and helped her to heal in a normal way. The view of the other couples with their own happy endings is definitly a bonus here. As with the first book, I absolutely hate the nickname "kitty" or "kitten." I ended up changing her name all together to Kaitlen and ignroing all the kitty and kitten crap. Those are just my own preferences though. Glad I bought this book overall to see everyone has a happy ending.

I waited until I had read the entire series before writing a review for the books in this series, and my review of this book will serve as my review of the entire series since it is the last book. I cannot say enough good things about this series. I have been absolutely riveted by it since book one and could not wait for the next book as I finished each one. I was sad to see the series end (unless the author has something in the works that I don't know about), but I couldn't have been happier with the way the story was wrapped up. I have run the gamut of emotions with this series, and have loved every moment of it. The characters in this series, so beautifully flawed and real and true, grabbed onto my heart and soul right from the beginning and just never let go. I love that the author saved Luke and Cassie's story for last. I think these two wounded people needed to see that love can really work out for others before they started to really believe and hope for it for themselves. Luke and Cassie's journey to love is so tragically beautiful. It's not all hearts and flowers, but it is one of understanding and compassion and eventually one of rediscovered passion once thought lost forever. To say I loved this book and the entire series would be a huge understatement. If I could give it infinite stars, I would. This series is so passionate and intriguing and poignant and captivating and provocative and completely enthralling. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a riveting and sexy read.
