Northern Diamonds

This adventure story was written for teenage boys in the first quarter of the twentieth century, but can be read for pleasure by adults too. It takes place in the eastern Canadian wilderness. A group of teenage boys go north to prospect for diamonds, but when they can't find many have to adjust. They attempt to overcome obstacles and various outlaws in their efforts to make a profit and return to civilization a success. (Goodreads)
