Cassie and Chrissy were sisters. They were as close as any two sisters could be since their parents died. Chrissy was married to Adam, an FBI agent, who also thought of Cassie as his sister. Chrissy and Adam wanted a baby in the worse way, unfortunately, Chrissy was unable to conceive. After much soul searching and many discussions, Cassie was to be their surrogate.
