Dallas Van Zant...
Water polo god.
Shameless flirt.
Beautiful disaster in the most literal sense of that label.

Trust me, it's not hyperbole. He's in big trouble with the law.

What does this have to do with me, you ask? Unfortunately, a lot. For some reason, which I still can't quite wrap my brain around, I've been talked into driving him around as part of his plea deal.

Problem is, he makes me nervous. I'm not good with people, men in particular, popular athletes especially. I've worked really hard to get my disability under control and one minute in his company and all my hard work flies out the window.

To top it all off, I promised myself that I was going to make some serious changes this year. I'm tired of feeling awkward around boys. I'm tired of never having had a boyfriend. I'm tired of being lonely.

But I'm also not the type to turn away a person in need. So I'll do what I must to help him out.

I'll just pretend that I'm not enjoying his company. And I'll ignore the fact that he's sweet and funny. And I'll tell myself every day that he's out of my league.

Because I'm as inexperienced as they come...and Dallas Van Zant is nothing but wild.

She was born in Milan Italy, grew up in New Jersey watching her father paint the covers of bestselling romance authors like Danielle Steel and Amanda Quick, and after a long stint on the left coast returned to the right coast to write about finding love in a modern world.

P Dangelico is a new author to me but after reading Nothing but Wild that’s about to change, I will certainly be checking out her other works as soon time as permits. This is Dallas Van Zant and Dora Ramos’s story and this couple have a romance that will captivate you, I’m sure like me you will be drawn in from the very page and you won’t be putting this book down til you have read the final line. Dallas is the star athlete, he is hot and he knows it and Dora has crushed on him from a distance, she doesn’t mix with the same crowds but they cross paths one night and Dora finds herself seeing another side to the cocky player. A star athlete and the shy nerdy girl who’s only ambition is to become a vet on paper shouldn’t connect but these two find a deeper connection and Dallas can’t get her out of his mind, problem is he has no idea who she is ....... I loved this couple and I loved their story, this was a book that left me smiling, it’s a friends to lovers story that intrigued me and I’m sure it will appeal to all romance lovers because it has the perfect mix of love, passion and witty banter. Great read and I’m looking forward to reading more from this talented author.

P Dangelico is a new author to me and why that is I have absolutely no idea. From start to finish she drew me in and captivated me with this story about Dallas Van Zant and Dora. The writing was strong and this book was well written with characters that were easy to relate to and ones you couldn’t help but fall for. This is a friends to lovers story that was entertaining to read. Dallas has gotten himself into trouble and Dora is the one who comes to his rescue. There is so much more to Dallas than what people think and it is that added layer that brought more depth to the story. I really loved Dora, she is funny and such a kind hearted woman. These two are total opposites and yet they really work, together they are an awesome couple. There was humour and the banter between Dora and her friends lead to some laugh out loud moments that had me smiling. The story was sweet, romantic and it was wonderful to watch their relationship develop.

This is a slow burn romance from Dallas and Dora. They are very interesting characters both with very interesting family/past and couldn't be more different. But as you know opposites attract. And attraction they have big-time it is just that they don't want to act on it. So Dora has a bucket list and Dallas wants to help her achieve her goals. What will happen is for you to find out. The story is sweet, cute and funny and both Dallas and Dora very likable. Their journey is not easy and I loved how the story ends, their make up a conversation has touched my heart. I can't wait to read Zoe and Brook's story. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

I literally could not wait for this book!!! After falling in love with book one in the Malibu University series, I just KNEW Nothing But Wild was going to be even better. But it wasn’t just better….it was bloody fantastic! This book exceeded any expectations I had. We first meet Dallas and Dora in book one. But this time, they take center stage is this funny, yet emotional, friends-to-lovers romance. Dallas is the typical, reckless playboy jock who acts like he just doesn’t give a damn. His “do what and who he wants” attitude gives him the wild Lothario reputation everyone sees and expects. And Dora is quite the leading lady herself. Awkward, insecure, but with a compassionate heart of gold, Dora’s nonjudgmental spirit was utterly endearing and makes her completely likable. Dallas and Dora couldn’t be more opposite if they tried. But their undeniable connection fascinates them both to see beyond what everyone else sees, to truly discover who the other person is deep inside. Their journey together as friends matures into an emotionally vulnerable yet fierce and tenacious relationship of highs and lows, and love and sacrifices. Each character carries their own burdens. But to see how they rely on each other, trust one another with their feelings and insecurities, and accept each other for who they are, is what transforms this story from good to great. And the sexual chemistry they feel is only heightened by the emotional connection they already share, and it explodes off the pages. As diverse as they appear, their personalities are magnetic and blend effortlessly. I loved this book! Dallas and Dora are a fun and unique couple, and their story captivated me from the very beginning. Nothing But Wild is a slow burn romance with impeccable writing and imagination. I can’t wait for what’s to come in this must-read series!

Dallas Van Zant is a poor little rich boy. Raised by a bipolar mother he might have all the money in the world but he learned young never to love anyone or anything, because they always leave you. A god of the water polo team he's feted by men and women, not committed to anything, drinking, sleeping and using his way through college until he joins his grandfather's beer behemoth or kills himself in one of his adrenaline-seeking stunts. Dora might have unconventional parental units but otherwise her life is cookie-cutter perfect with ambitions to become a vet. Her only weakness is her pathetic crush on Dallas, a guy who doesn't even know she exists until one night she steps outside her comfort zone and kisses him. If you like a YA/NA novel where the super hot stud helps the short curvy nerd tick off her To Do List for the year then you'll definitely enjoy this. Slower and more measured than the first book this is intelligent and takes place over more than just a couple of weeks. Some of Dora's friends (I mean you Zoe) are super-annoying but they aren't in many scenes so I can deal. P Dangelico has set this at the same time as the first book so events in the first book also happen in this one. Not sure if she's intending to this with all the books in the series and whether it will be interesting or really irritating. Anyway, considering I keep saying I'm like sooo totally over NA/YA I enjoyed this one. Guess a favourite author can make even me reconsider a tired genre with good writing and believable characters. I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Dallas and Dora's story starts with a drunken kiss. It's a kiss she'll never forget but she's pretty sure he was too drunk to remember. Little does she know, he remembers the kiss, he just doesn't know who kissed him... Ahhhh Dallas, he was the perfect least it always looks that way from the outside. He has the glossy exterior but internally, he's struggling and about to break apart. Unfortunately, no one is noticing that since he doesn't ask for help. One day he hits rock bottom and somewhat self-destructs. It leads him to some forced changes. Dora has led a cautious and quiet life. But she's tired of it and has created a checklist of things she wants to do/experience called the "Eff List." She and Dallas form an unlikely friendship when she starts driving him places while he's injured and without a vehicle (after his carwreck). What starts out as a friendship of convenience evolves into something much deeper and before long, Dallas has feelings for Dora that he isn't familiar with. It brings his "caveman" side out which is actually kind of amusing. Unfortunately, Dallas has a hard time trusting things because life has always let him down so he continually expects for Dora to let him down too. This was a good book about two adults and how they dealt with their insecurities in order to be able to love one another. Even though Dallas doesn't look like the type who'd be insecure at all, he definitely was and at times it could almost cripple him. Dora's insecurities were more visible in her stutter and the way she carried herself. However, over time, she conquered a lot of the struggles that led to those issues for her and it built her confidence even more. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in the series. Thank you to NetGalley and P. Dangelico for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Kitten and the Star! I could not help but fall for Dallas and Dora! Even though Dallas was perfect on the outside, he was broken on the inside ... he acted wild and free to protect his heart. Anyone he ever loved, didn't love him back. And Dora was just so cute. Even though she thought she wasn't perfect on the outside and she stuttered ... Dallas was smitten with her right from the start! Dallas is one of the stars of the Malibu water polo team ... and he has the arrogance to prove it! Dora is a nerd that wants to be a vet ... oh yeah, and she's a virgin. When Dallas spies all that red hair and curvy body ... he can't stop himself from following her everywhere. Notice I said "following" not "stalking" ... lol? Even though Dallas is from a very wealthy family, he has absolutely no family life. And Dora has two Dads and was wanted long before she was born. This is a great addition to the series and shouldn't be missed! I can't wait for the next book ... all the characters are so unique! I received an early copy courtesy of the author through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

Well, I don’t really know what to say, P Dangelico is fast becoming one of my go-to authors. I’ve loved all her stories to date, and the Malibu University series is turning out to be a firm favourite of mine. Nothing But Wild only cementing my opinion even more. I was completely addicted from the get-go. Wonderful writing, wonderful story and wonderful characters. So many wonderfuls. I can NOT fault Dallas Van Zant or Dora Ramos, what you see is what you get. A truly special couple who I was rooting for from the start. Loved that the story ran alongside book 1, and loved reading about all the characters I met previously. A story full of friendship, romance, love and sexy time. Add in some family time and emotional drama (where I’ve got to say the tears were a flowing). A full five star read that I loved. I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. This is my honest review.
