This book helps readers learn about squirrels: what they eat, what they use their teeth for, etc. It takes readers through a day in the life of the squirrel eating peanuts, sitting on someone's window sill and many more things.

This book is about a story of a boy who has an adventurous squirrel come into his city apartment through a hole in his window screen. The book also offers information on some plants and animals throughout the story in smaller print. There is also a glossary in the back of the book. Genre: FictionAge(s): 4-8

A story about a precocious squirrel. Facts about squirrels are included in the back of the book for older students.

I really enjoyed reading, "Nuts to You!" This book is for first, second, or third grade. The book is all about squirrels. It has pictures of squirrels and it describes squirrel actions. The book has some wonderful information in it. It has an identification card beside things, such as; flower names, tree names, name tag on the window, and etc.. At the end of the book there is a page that talks about the use of squirrel teeth, feet, tail, nest/home, and just gives some extra facts. I really that this book would be useful in a classroom for fun and educational purposes.

I can't say that I am overly pleased with this book. It is rather cheaply made. The poem is cute, but the information in the back is too complicated for toddlers. Also, the artwork, while original, obscures the text so it is a bit difficult to read( the information in the back).
