About the Author

Always Cozy, Sassy & Sexy

Disa Dawn pens cozy fantasy tales featuring daring heroines, mystical adventures, and sweet, steamy romance. She’s known for her slick, snappy prose, diverse worlds, quirky plots, and happy endings.

Studying poetics and creative writing at Naropa University inspired Disa to write books she wanted to read—sassy stories offering a warm escape from the cold world of reality, starring kickass heroines who also happen to be nice.

So, if you're a fan of the paranormal and urban fantasy but need a break from the glorified gore and shocking violence often inflicted upon our beloved heroines, you've come to the right place.

Excellent genera-bender. Love it when an author successfully breaks the mold and makes a new one. While this robust story can get confusing (if you are forced to read it in small bursts) it has everything from love to power to evil all rolled up in elegant prose that flows like fine wine. I will miss Piper, who has encouraged me to take life by the throat... with eyes wide open. I received this book from eBook Discovery. This is my honest review.

I loved this book! A few pages in and I didn't want to stop. The characters are great and I loved how the story unfolded. The writing is beautiful and really helped me to step into this new world. Can't wait for the next book!

Fabulous read! Well written, page turning. I very much enjoyed the character and being in her head and thoughts. Can't wait for the next in the trilogy
