This is the first book that I have read by Fox, and it will definitely not be the last. Frayne and Tyack are both well - realized, well-rounded characters; I liked them both immediately. The descriptions of the Cornish wilderness are beautiful and detailed, and the psychic element added a nice twist to the mystery. Highly recommended to fans of Josh Lanyon and KJ Charles. -- lyradora

This is short, but it draws you in immediately, and pulls you thru to the end. You learn about the characters, invest in them, and are immersed in the story from page 1. Very satisfying. Well written. I'm thrilled there are follow up stories, as altho it's complete as is, it's also too good to be over.

Overall Series Review: Gideon and Lee make a pretty instant connection despite Gideon's first impression of Lee's abilities being fake. Once he realizes that Lee is on the level they discover how well they work together, not to mention play together. The setting descriptions leave you feeling as if you are standing right there in Bodmin Moor, the characters are a recipe of good, bad, odd, funny, and everything in between. Each story might have a standalone mystery that the couple faces but because the evolution of their relationship, this series really should be read in order. Another great addition to my paranormal library.

Very good! It's Harper after all. It is short at 86 pages but she can pack a lot in those pages.
