## I did like this book for the most part. However, the first 2 books were better for sure. I have to say I didn't really care for AJ. He was pretty weak, letting his parents and ex-girlfriend treat Brett the way they did. So she had a small bird tatoo on each foot, a fish on her leg, an angel tatoo on one arm and stars and roses on her shoulder and wrist. That doesn't warrant that much animosity. She didn't have full sleeves or her neck or fingers tatooed or pierced lips or gages in her ears. Jeez, they acted small minded indeed. And some of the comments AJ himself made were insulting as well. Don't get me wrong, it was still fantastic, especially the gay party scene (I was laughing like a crazy woman as AJ described it). Just not my favorite of the three.

One Night Of Trouble is book three in the After Hours series by Elle Kennedy. This book concentrates on AJ, the third partner of the three owners of the club, Sin, and the woman that showed him that it’s okay to be bad. AJ has always been known as ‘Mr. Nice Guy.’ He makes sure everyone around him is happy. He always chooses women to date that his parents would approve of and he never, ever has a one night stand. AJ is used to women coming on to him at the club and some of them are beautiful, but that’s not what he wants. Then Brett Conlon walked up to his bar. She had eyes that captivated him, and an attitude that should have put him off. But all it did was turn him on. There was no way he was letting this little pixie of a tattoo covered girl get away from him. He’s tired of trying to be perfect. Tonight, he can take this beautiful woman home and let out the bad boy he has kept hiding inside of him, just for one night. Brett Conlon is the only daughter and youngest child of a father that owns a chain of tattoo parlors with her three older brothers. She has a history of being somewhat of a wild child, and has a history of always choosing the worst boyfriends. Her dad is getting ready to open up a new tattoo parlor and Brett wants to run it. But she has to convince her dad that she can clean up her act, that she can handle it. As soon as AJ touched her, she knew she wanted to let him take her home. Just one night with him, one night to quit trying so hard to be good. Circumstances arise that cause Brett to ask AJ if he would be her fake boyfriend for just three weeks, to help to convince her dad that she is up to the task of running the new shop. AJ is just the sort of guy that would convince her dad that she has good judgement. And the best perk of all to AJ posing as her fake boyfriend is three more weeks of mind blowing sex. The more time these two spend together, the stronger their connection becomes. They are both better people when they are together. They laugh a lot, talk a lot, and have lots and lots of sex! AJ finds himself sharing things with Brett that he has never shared with anyone, not even his two best friends and co-owners of the club. But Brett starts to realize how conflicted AJ really is. He tries so hard to be perfect for everyone else but when they are alone, he lets his bad boy out. “He’d shown her exactly who he was that first night, and she found comfort in the knowledge that AJ didn’t hide himself from her. But he hid from everyone else. She wanted AJ to be as proud of himself as she was of him. Now she just had to convince him.” I loved this third installment of this series. I immediately fell in love with AJ’s bad boy side. I hated watching him struggle with keeping it hidden. And Brett was amazing and perfect for him. These two had chemistry hotter than fire and it was amazing. I’ve said before that I love epilogues and this one was perfect. As far as I know this is the final book in this series. I loved all three books and hope you’ll give them a try!

As posted on The Smutty Kitty reviewed by KittyKelly 4.5 out of 5 Licks Holy crap AJ is sooooooo not what he appeared to be in the previous books!  He may come across as the sweet guy next door, but in the bedroom (or wherever else the mood strikes) he is anything but sweet.  Brett is trying hard to give up her bad girl ways but AJ is making it very difficult.  I love that Brett is not only a tattooed bad ass chick, she's also a tattoo artist.  She strikes up a deal with AJ to help her father see that she's grown up and is responsible enough to run the new shop they are opening.  AJ agrees as long as she agrees to let him show his dirty side.  I enjoyed not only the hot, sexy side of this book but I also really liked the banter between Brett and AJ.  They compliment each other so well and I love that she is the one labeled as "bad" rather than him.  It's a fun twist I don't read to often anymore.  One Night of Sin is still my absolute favorite in this series but this one is definitely a close second!

Elle Kennedy's After Hours series is one of my favorites in Brazen's line. I can always count on her to provide strong and sexy characters, a storyline I enjoy and smokin' hot sexy times. She continued the streak with One Night of Trouble. I absolutely devoured this book. I loved that AJ and Brett had a past – or, kinda, anyhow. I enjoyed the role reversal of him being the clean-cut "good guy" and her being the tattooed "bad girl." I loved even more that they were both so much more than the stereotypes the embodied. Underneath that All American exterior, AJ definitely had an edge – and he liked to talk dirty. I do appreciate a good dirty talking man. Rawr. There was a lot more to Brett than met the eye, too. She was far more concerned with how her family perceived her than you might imagine from outside appearances alone. I really liked them both. And I adored them together. They definitely brought out the best in each other. This just might be Elle's sexiest book yet. There's one scene (or, well, a number of smaller scenes) that I was certain was going to overheat my iPad. Her books have always been sexy, but this one moved into a whole different territory... and I liked it. A lot. Nothing like a little light BDSM and edging to spice things up.  One Night of Trouble was a quick read. I really liked the characters, and enjoyed seeing how they fit in with the dynamic of the other characters in the After Hours series. If you like steamy romance with substance and you've not yet read Elle, I highly recommend you give her a shot. She's definitely one of my favorite Brazen authors.  I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Oh, my…the good boy has gone bad…in all the right ways! Wow – what a great finish to this series! AJ has been the nicest guy throughout this series and he has turned over a new leaf…and can that boy dirty talk with the best of them! This was a fun read that had a bit of drama, some angst, and a whole lot of dirty in it. And I can't forget the laughter - AJ and Brett had me laughing out loud at times!  AJ was just a study in contradictions. Mr. Nice Guy to everyone, always being the good son, never making waves or stepping out of line, always being the one to broker peace…until he decides that he needs a little release from the guilt that drives him to be Mr. Perfect for everyone. And when he meets Brett, he finally allows himself to take what he wants…and what he wants isn't part of his Mr. Nice Guy routine. Brett has her own set of problems she’s dealing with. She wants her family to take her more seriously, which means she has to keep walking the straight and narrow to prove she’s settled down from her partying ways and can be relied upon and trusted. And when she connects with AJ she finds the best of both worlds – the perfect guy to take home to the family, but also one who can be quite the naughty boy when it comes to the bedroom. These two were so perfect for each other and fun to watch together. There was some family drama built in to this story that provided a bit of angst, and I just loved how Brett handled the situation. AJ really had some issues to deal with, and Brett was just what he needed to resolving those issues. This was a great book and a great ending to this series. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, fun read with some sexy, dirty-talking alpha heroes and strong women who can go toe to toe with them. I received a copy of this book from the publisher for an honest review.

This was a fabulous book! It was really hot and quite an emotional read about accepting who you are inside. It was the third book in the 'After Hours' series, but can totally stand on it's own.

We didn't really learn a whole lot about AJ in the first two books--a partner in the club, Reed's best friend and Darcy's ex--that's about it. Oh, and a nice guy...kinda on the bland side, but really, really nice. Or is he?  As often happens, when a character finally gets their own book, we get the real story. It turns out AJ's got a whole lot of bad inside him, just looking for the right girl to come along and let it out to play. Which Brett does--very nicely. ;) One Night of Trouble was a fun read--I enjoyed finally getting to know AJ, and Brett was a really strong character. I loved that she could see beyond the false front that AJ put up for everyone else and that she wasn't willing to let him continue to hide who he really was from the rest of the world. I definitely felt for her as well--the lone girl, growing up with all those brothers?--but she was more than up to the task. She really pulled her life around in the novel and wasn't willing to take less than she deserved from anyone. I did think that AJ's issues with his parents were solved just a tad bit too quickly and easily, though, considering how long they'd been in place and his general attitude toward them. (And where the heck are Brett's tats on the cover pic?) Still, I've really enjoyed this series, and its latest novel didn't disappoint. Rating: 4 stars / B+ I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

When AJ Walsh was a little boy, his older brother had an accident and died.  AJ blames himself.  His whole life he's tried to be the good son, the good friend, the good everything but he's always felt he never measured up to the image of his deceased brother.  Especially to his parents.  While tending bar one night, he meets Brett.  She's a tattooed, pixie looking, spitfire.  Brett needs to show her father that she's capable of managing their new tattoo parlor across town and she only has three weeks to do that.  She needs to show him that she's making better choices.   After one night together, AJ and Brett agree that if he pretends to be her boyfriend for three weeks, then she will show him a wild time, in bed and out of it.  When you meet someone that you feel free to be your true self around, you keep her.  The only problem was that AJ only showed himself to Brett and NO ONE ELSE.  Does she really want to be with someone that is afraid to show his true self to his friends and family? I love this third book in the After Hours series.  I'm so happy that AJ found himself a sexy little tattoo artist.  Brett is great!  I love her "take me as I am" attitude.  She and AJ are perfect together.  Their chemistry in and out of bed is explosive!  I am hooked by the writing style of Elle Kennedy and I can't wait to read more. 3.5 Stars Reviewed by Annie and posted at Under The Covers Book Blog Back in After Hours, sexual tension is brewing between two friends. AJ Walsh finally gets his book and I think it might be my favorite yet! As the people person, AJ not only popular with the ladies but it also mans the bar very well on his work nights. But an unexpected occurrence happens when Brent Conlon returns to the picture. Their chemistry is combustible, throwing both of them into some kind of primal heat. As expected, Kennedy wastes no time getting to the good parts. Each scene is wrought with sexual tension and passion and it isn’t until later that the complications arise when Brent’s family steps into the picture. I quite enjoyed AJ and Brent’s story. It’s sexy but this time, I think Kennedy added some realistic conflicts that made this story more interesting. So far, the previous books of the series have lacked that so I’m thrilled to see the author incorporate this more into her work. AJ was a thrill to read. While typically fun and easy going, his dominance in the bedroom was a nice surprise and certainly added to the heat level. If you’re a fan of Tessa Bailey’s style of writing then I would highly suggest trying this series out! *ARC provided by publisher

4 fun, sexy, alpha-hotness filled stars! I have been following the After Hours series, by Elle Kennedy, since the very beginning. I loved the previous books in this series and could not wait to get my hands on AJ's book.  AJ was a bit of an enigma for me. The more I read about him in the previous books, the more I wanted to know what big secret he was hiding. I got to find out in One Night of Trouble, and it broke my heart!  When Brett Conlon enters his life, AJ has no doubt that the little tattooed pixie will be the perfect person who can make him say SAYONARA to his Mr. Nice Guy reputation. Will she also be the one to make him want more?  I really enjoyed this story. I usually read books about a good girl falling for the bad boy. This was a bit different. Brett is the wild one in this sexy couple and AJ is the good guy who wants nothing more than to take a walk on the wild side. AJ has lost himself. He always has done stuff for the approval of others and it's time for a change. Brett is exactly the person who can help him with that. What he does not expect is that Brett will open his eyes and show him who the real AJ Walsh is.  Brett and AJ were a great couple to follow and I really loved their chemistry. They shared a lot of sexy times, but emotional and eye-opening moments as well. Their relationship was realistic and I think that is what made me connect with them from the very beginning. They both had insecurities and I loved how they talked to each other about what they wanted from life. It was nice to see them grow as a couple, but as individual as well. Brett wants to prove to her family that she can put her wild side in the past so that she can get involved in their family business, and AJ is proud to be working at Club Sin with Gage and Reed, but what bothers him is that his parents don't agree with some decisions he's made.  Overall, the After Hours series by Elle Kennedy, has been a scorching reading escape! It was nice to reconnect with the couples from the previous books. I absolutely loved Skyler, Gage, Darcy and Reed. This was a great series, and I can't wait to see what Elle Kennedy will write next! I give, One Night of Trouble, by Elle Kennedy 4 fun, sexy, alpha-hotness filled stars!
