This book is a combination of two books. Only a Start was first published in 1978. It was probably the worst attempt at self-publishing ever seen by mankind. It is a compilation of poems Rebecka Vigus wrote as a teen until she was 23. It includes her poem, This Our State, which was introduced to the state Senate as a possible state poem for Michigan.
