Oryon (Tornians, #5) by M.K. Eidem

Lord Oryon and Lady Isis of House Rigel are returning home from a historic meeting of the Assembly of Lords. Their universe has drastically changed in the last weeks since they arrived on Tornian and both are trying to adjust.

For Oryon, he was amazed how his Isis had blossomed. The support and companionship of the Earth females had given her a confidence he had never realized she lacked. She now touched him as she said she had always wanted to. She rested with him every night and was demanding to take a more active role in their lives.

For Isis, she couldn’t believe the things Earth females considered normal, things that she had never known were possible. Resting with a male. Going when and where they wanted to go and talking to whomever they wanted. Being involved in the running of their own House and then there were the amazing things they had told her that males and females could do together… during Joining.

House Rigel is going to be turned upside down and not everyone is going to be receptive to these changes.

87 pages. I have been binge reading this series so I felt cheated with the short story and little story line. Different characters but same issues, same themes, with less story. This couple had been togetherfor 25 years, yet their relationship seemed flat.

A definite worth reading. Not much romance out there for people that are in the middle ages instead of young people. Thank you to the author.

I have not read this one, but have read the 5 longer ones. I cannot see paying so much for a short story. I will have to think about it. I loved the ones I read.

I loved it, kept buying until I've read all 5 books, wish there was more to this series. Didn't think I would love alien's in space but I loved this.

Great short story set in the same world as Grim, and the rest of the series. The only negative is that the story is too short and there are no more books in the series out, hopefully yet. I could not put down Grim the first story and each book was a continuation of the story except Wray which was a flashback. I recommend this book and series highly with the hope that the author will set more stories in this world soon.

Not as good as the others in the series. I would have rather seen Rebecca and Callen story. Still well written though

Great short. I love how all of Michelle's stories have a moral without sounding to pompus
